Basic information

Camp Savudrija (ex campsite Pineta) is 9 km from Umag. The pitches are set by the sea, and part of the campsite is right next to the famous and oldest lighthouse on the Adriatic.

NEW - partial renovation of the campsite and construction of a swimming pool in the central part of the campsite, renovation of toilet 3 and renovation of the restaurant.

Campsite accepts the Avtokampi Camping Card, which will make camping holidays more affordable. The discount is listed at the price list of the campsite - order for free and get camping card by email.

Campsite Savudrija is well-known that is very peaceful as well as during the day as at night. It is middle sized campsite with a bit less than 500 pitches that are mostly well shaded. Part by the well known light house is sunnier though. All pitches have access to electricity, some to the water as well. Free wifi is available for all guests.

Campsite has 4 sanitary buildings that are nicely arranged and all adjusted to kids and disabled guests. There is as well camper supply station, chem toilet, laundry and shower for dogs.

Beach in Camping Savudrija is mostly stoned with some pebbled bays. There is a lot of shade by the beach. In the neighbouring apartment complex a swimming pool has been built and can be used by camp's guests as well. A beach for dogs is arranged.

From sport activities you can play tennis, basketball, volleyball, table tennis and mini golf, rent a bike is close by. Camp has restaurant, shop, pica place and some smaller bars. Whole day animation for kids is organized, while adults can dance along love music in the evenings.

The campsite is truly lovely. Although there are many pitches, everything is very well spread out, so it never feels crowded. The new pool and the sanitary facilities are particularly impressive – everything is modern, very clean, and well-maintained. The sanitary facilities seem to be cleaned almost hourly. Overall, the entire campsite makes a really great and well-kept impression.

This was our first time staying at the Savudrija campsite (we had known the campsite before) and we were also positively surprised by the location of the pitches (close to the sea), the beautifully arranged sanitary facilities (close to no. 3) and the swimming pools, the restaurant.... Our only complaint is the opening hours of the swimming pools, which are open from 10 am to 7 pm. We think they open too late and close too early. Also the restaurant, where food is only served until 8 pm.
Otherwise, we think it's a great campsite (not exactly for a main holiday) for extended weekends, close to Slovenia, friendliness, cleanliness... We had a great time!
