The Val di Fiemme valley will host cross-country skiing, ski jumping, and Nordic combined competitions as part of the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics. The valley has been associated with Nordic sports for many years, so they already had cross-country skiing trails in Tesero and ski jumps near Predazzo. We checked the ski jumping, cross-country skiing, and combined events schedule and where it will be possible to park a camper during the Olympic Games.

The Val di Fiemme valley is a well-known winter tourist destination, famous above all for the ski resortLatemar (Obereggen - Pampeago - Predazzo), Alpe Cermis, and Alpe Lusia - Bellamonte. During the Olympic Games, all ski resorts will operate normally, and parking lots at the lower stations of ski lifts will be reserved for skiers only.

During the Olympic Games, the Val di Fiemme valley is expecting lots of ski jumping and cross-country skiing fans from Italy, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, France, and Scandinavia. Many will be arriving in motorhomes, so we have prepared information on winter camping and motorhome parking options in the vicinity and added some interesting campsites in the area.

The Olympic competitions will take place at two locations:

  • ski jumping at the Predazzo Ski Jumping Stadium - 2 km from Predazzo
  • cross-country skiing at the Lago di Tesero Cross-Country Skiing Stadium - 1,5km from Tesero and 7 km from Predazzo

The Olympic ski jumping competitions will take place from February 7 to 16, cross-country skiing from February 7 to 22, and Nordic combined from February 11 to 19.

You can also combine watching the Olympic Games with a winter vacation and skiing. Please note that the first part of the week is also Carnival weekend, when some Italian regions also have holidays, so you can expect quite a crowd.
