Advent in Sibenik and winter camping at Amadria Sibenik

For several years now, Sibenik has been organising an interesting Advent programme with an ice rink in the city centre. This year, the nearby Amadria Sibenik Campground will open for the first time over the New Year, while the winter section of the Aquapark Dalmatia water park opened in early November. Camping and mobile home rental are available.

This year's Advent in Sibenik - Adventura will take place from Friday 6 December to Saturday 4 January. 

Festive events with concerts will take place in park Perivoj Roberta Visianija, an ice rink will be set up in the nearby square Poljana, and the third part of the Christmas ŠuŠur will take place in front of the Jadran Hotel.

On 6 December, one of the most famous Croatian singers, Gibonni, will open the festive season with a concert. On the same day, a large skating rink will be opened, where skate rental will also be available.

Other concerts will take place at the weekends, on Friday evenings and then on Saturday at noon and in the evening. New Year's Eve in Sibenik will take place in two locations. Italian singer Mario Biondi will perform in the square in front of the Cathedral, while

 in the park there will be a concert first by local band BluVinil and then by Silente from Dubrovnik.

The second venue for the festive events in Sibenik is called Christmas SuSur and will be set up in front of the Jadran Hotel, near the Cathedral. The festive events will start on Friday, 29 November, with a concert by Giuliano and the Diktatori group, followed the next day by a concert by the Daleka Obala group.

In December, there will be music quizzes on Tuesdays, a student party on Wednesdays, a SuSur quiz on Thursdays, a children's Susur advent on Saturdays and Trash parties on Sundays.

Festive December camping at Amadria Sibenik and swimming at new Auqapark Dalmatia

For the first time this December, a campsite is open at the Amadria Sibenik Resort, just 6 km from the city. The whole resort will be beautifully decorated, special menus will be prepared in their Dalmatian village and there will be entertainment in the hotels.

City bus 5 runs from the Amadria Tourist Village to Sibenik itself, and taxis can be booked at reception.

In November, the winter section of Aquapark Dalmatia opened, including a family area with water slides, water games and a calm river with heated water, and a modern wellness area for adults with a pool, saunas and massages. In addition, the water park has children's play areas and a restaurant for children. The right choice for family water fun, as Santa Claus will visit the children every day at 17:00 during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

For the guests of the campsite, Aqualand Dalmatia offers reduced prices for swimming tickets:

> for days Monday to Thursday and Sunday 20 € for persons over 120 cm and 10 € for children 90 - 120 cm.

> on Friday and Saturday the price is slightly higher at € 30 for persons over 120 cm and € 15 for children 90-120 cm.

> for children shorter than 90 cm free of charge.

The price of the water park includes a wellness area with a swimming pool and saunas.

Winter camping in Amadria Sibenik

The Amadria Camping Sibenik is scheduled to be open until 6 January 2025. It is a 15-minute walk from Aqaupark Dalmatia, but there are well maintained pitches, a sanitary facility, some children's play areas and, of course, a sunny area next to a beautifully landscaped beach. There is also a Dalmatian village with a restaurant near the campsite.

The price for camping on pitches with electricity with an Avtocampi card for two people and a dog is only 27 € in December.

The campsite also rents mobile homes for 4-6 people with two or three bedrooms. Rental prices for the New Year start from 85 €, with a slightly higher price for mobile homes located near the sea.
