The region has two centers - Zadar and Šibenik - and is well connected via motorways, ports and even an international airport. Each year it attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world, and many of them choose camping in one of the modern campsites on Pag or other islands and near Zadar or Šibenik. All campsites are right by the sea and most of them have pebble beaches. Campsites vary in size and facilities, most are pet-friendly, some offer swimming pools or even water parks. Whether you plan to enjoy the beach and the beautiful nature, do sports or explore Zadar's UNESCO-listed historical sites, you will find endless possibilities in this enchanting part of the Adriatic. You can also stroll along the fascinating old town of Šibenik, with its many sights and the promenade. Šibenik is the oldest town in Croatia, founded by Croats.
