Camping Stobrec, Split - an excellent campsite on the outskirts of Split, with many awards to its name

Split is the Dalmatian capital, known to football fans for Hajduk, to tourists for Diocletian's Palace and the Old Town, and to campers for the excellent Camping Stobrec. Set on a peninsula at the edge of town and a pebble beach, it also has a wellness centre and restaurant. This year, the campsite was awarded the ADAC Superplatz title and the ACSI award for the most puppy-friendly campsite, thanks to its well-equipped facilities and additional facilities.

Camping Stobrec has been established for 18 years in the southern part of Split, offering year-round camping on beautifully landscaped pitches and mobile homes for rent. It is the only campsite in Split!

If this part of the city was poorly landscaped before, it is now a green oasis with a variety of trees providing good shade for the pitches, and pine trees in the mobile home area.

The centre of Split is easily accessible by bus, or you can cycle into town (9 km), passing through the settlements of Žnjan and Bačvice. The campsite is also an interesting starting point for a trip to the island of Brač or for exploring the hills in the hinterland of Split.

Every year, a new addition is made - this year, the old mobile homes have been replaced with new ones, while the camping pitches have been further developed, the restaurant renovated, a shop, a reception and a wellness centre with outdoor swimming pools have been built.

Thanks to its well-equipped campsite and excellent additional facilities, the campsite has been awarded the Superplatz campsite title by the ADAC, the German Automobile Club, making it one of the 190 best campsites in Europe. Camping Stobrec was rated the most "dog-friendly" campsite in Croatia by the Dutch ACSI.

The left part of the campsite is pitched, while the back part and a small part by the restaurant are also unplotted for tent pitchers. All pitches have electricity and water, some have a drain, and range in size from 80 to 120 m2. There is ample shade, three sanitary facilities and a separate area for the provision of caravans.

There are children's playground and entertainment during the holidays. There are also some sports fields on the right-hand side of the campsite, for example for football and basketball, SUP boards and kayaks are available for hire, and there is a diving centre in the summer.

The beach at Camping Stobres is pebbly, especially the right side of the beach is very well maintained with umbrellas, there are showers on the beach and there is a café above the beach.

The Zrnovnica River flows into the sea on the left side of the campsite, so there is more silt in the bay, but this does not mean that the sea is dirty.

The campsite also takes excellent care of puppies, with a dog beach, a dog shower and a few games.

Mobile home rental in Camping Stobrec

The mobile homes at Camping Strobrec are located immediately to the right of the entrance to the campsite, so they are slightly separated from the rest of the campsite.

The location is right above the most beautiful part of the beach, but the chalets are very varied and there are smaller mobile homes for 2 people with one bedroom, for 4 people with two bedrooms and for 6 people with three bedrooms.

This year, new mobile homes have also been built, the type Lovely mobile homes, which are 24 m2 and 30 m2 in size and are designed for 2+1 persons.

All have their own kitchen, bathroom, terrace and puppies are allowed at an extra charge. Two mobile homes are also available, with a floor plan and access for disabled persons.

As Camping Stobrec is open all year round, the wellness area with saunas, jacuzzi, massages and relaxation area is a welcome addition, and there is also a fitness room.

In addition to the spa, there are outdoor swimming pools, which are open from mid-May to early October, depending on the weather, plus some water games for children, a small water slide and an outdoor jacuzzi.

There is also a refurbished Horus Restaurant & Pizzeria with a large terrace near the beach.

Avtokampi Camping Card at Camping Stobrec offers a special price of € 27 for camping, which includes 2 people, a dog and a pitch with electricity and water in Zone B or C. The promotion is valid from 1.1. - 30.6. & 1.9. - 31.12.

During the winter periods 1.1. - 10.3. & 20.10. - 31.12. campsite Stobreč offers a special camping rate for 2 people and a dog on pitches B and C, but you must stay for a minimum of 3 nights. The special camping price is € 23.
