Basic information

Camping Valkanela - Vrsar lies in a beautiful bay between Vrsar and Funtana, about 2km from city centre of Vrsar. It is an ideal place for family holidays, but also for the lovers of sports, recreation and fun.

Campsite Valkanela accepts the Avtokampi Camping Card, which will make camping holidays more affordable. The discount is listed at the price list of the campsite - order for free and get camping card by email.

NEW - renovation of sanitary facilities 5, 8, 10 and 12 in 2022, new mobile homes by the sea and in the upper part of the campsite and renovation of the reception in 2023, new sports centre and children's playground at the beginning of the campsite in 2024.

Campsite Valkanela is offering camping on arranged camping pitches, rental of mobile homes and caravans of agency Gebetsroither.

Camping Valkanela is one of the largest Croatian camps with 56ha of surface and offering 1400 pitches, around 200 places for tents (camping part that is not divided into pitches). All pitches have access to electricity, pitches in zone by the sea have connection to water as well.

In recent years, Valkanela Camp has renovated its sanitary facilities, added new camping pitches with electricity, water and drainage, new mobile homes and a seafront promenade.

Campsite Valkanela has modern sanitary facilities that are accessible also for campers on wheelchairs and adjusted for kids. Additionally, dog showers were added. Other camps infrastructure is all encompassing: large shop, fish selling stand, beach bars, restaurant, clinic.

Beach in camp is 3km long and various - part is stoned, some parts are concrete, while in the middle you will find pebbled bay that is full of children during the day. It also has access for people on wheelchair. Part of the beach is reserved for dogs.

You will find aquapark on the water, while animation for children is organized on daily basis. There are many children's playgrounds, one also at the beach. Sports centre offers many sport activities: tennis, table tennis, beach volleyball, mini golf, rental of boats, bikes, surfing, billiards, table football, ...

Mobile homes description

Mobile homes rental at Camping Valkanela - different types of mobile homes for 2 - 6 persons are available for rent. The larger houses suitable for families are 32-43 m2 and have two or three bedrooms, while the smaller houses for couples are 21 m2 and have one bedroom.

All mobile homes at Camping Valkanela are air-conditioned, equipped with a kitchen, bathroom and terrace. Dogs are allowed in some cottages.

Superior View mobile homes for 2 persons (21 m2) or 2 + 3 persons (33 m2) are located in the first row by the sea, with a terrace and sea view.

Premium Mobile Homes with BBQ for 4 + 2 persons (36 m2) are equipped with 2 bedrooms and an outdoor summer kitchen with barbecue.

Premium mobile homes for 4 + 2 persons (32 - 35 m2) have two bedrooms and are located in the upper part of the campsite. Several chalets share a common swimming pool.

The Forest Escape mobile homes for 4+2 persons (36 m2) or 6+1 persons (43 m2) with two or three bedrooms are located in the upper part of the campsite, where there are also a number of children's playgrounds. One mobile home is also adapted for people with disabilities.

The Family mobile homes for 6+2 persons (34 m2) have three bedrooms and are located in the central part of the campsite.

The Standard mobile homes for 4+2 persons with Jacuzzi (32 m2) have two bedrooms and, in addition, a private hot-water jacuzzi on the terrace.

Standard mobile homes (32m2) are classic mobile homes with two bedrooms and a terrace.

    Kamp je primeren za družine, parcele so ok, sanitarije bi bilo potrebno večkrat čistit. Trgovina v kampu pa je katastrofa, upam da se kmalu renovira.​​

    Kamp je velik, lep in čist. Nudi lepe možnosti za kolesarjenje in sprehode. Gotovo se bova še vrnila.
    Predvsem pa bi se rada zahvalila AVTOKAMPI.SI, ki nam omogoča ugodnejša kampiranja, zlasti v pred in posezoni. HVALA!
