Basic information

Valamar Camping Baška is located along 2km long pebbled beached named Vela plaza (Large beach) which is the main tourist attraction of city Baska on island Krk. Camping Baska is offering more than 400 camping pitches and 105 mobile homes. Pitches in the upper part of the campsite are better shaded.

Campsite accepts the Avtokampi Camping Card, which will make the camping more affordable. The discount is listed at the price list of the campsite - order and get camping card by email.

In last years mobile homes were added in the upper part of the campsite. In season 2019 new swimming pool complex was built next to the reception. It has larger pool, children's pool and pool with slides and water playground. Pitches by the sea are newly arranged and fast food bar will be added.

Camping Baska has new reception with market arranged next to it. Camping pitches are divided into two locations, separated by local road - part by the beach offers around 170 pitches equipped with water and electricity connection, some also have sewage. These pitches are located next to the pebbled beach, where bars, restaurants, children's playground and slides are located.

Second part of the campsite is arranged on grass. It has around 230 pitches comfort. Some pitches on right side of the camp are shaded.

Camping Baska has 3 sanitary facilities that have been recently renovated. Two are adjusted to kids and disabled guests. Family bathrooms are arranged and available for rental. There are as well laundry, dog showers, chem toilets and camper supply station. Camp is covered with free WiFi.

By the campsite you will find sports centre where you can plan tennis, volleyball, mini golf, table tennis, water slides and various water sports.

Beach is public and very tidy. Pebbled and sandy beach is very suitable for children. It is possible also to rent a boat or equipment for various water sports. At right corner of the beach, beach for dogs have been arranged. 

In camping Baska you will find shop, bakery, fruit selling stand, newspaper stand and many bars and restaurants.

Mobile homes description

Rental of mobile homes in Baska Beach Camping resort on island Krk - it is possible to rent various types of mobile homes.

The newest were added in seasons 2017 and 2018. These are mobile homes Marena Premium in central part of the camp and Vela Bay Premiuim by reception. These are modern mobile homes in sailing and Mediterranean style, large 32m2 for 4+2 people. All mobile homes have two bedrooms - one with king size bed and two separated beds - living room with sofa, equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and terrace with garden furniture, sunbeds, parasol and barbecue.

Older mobile homes Comfort are set close to the sea and main pebbled beach in Baska. These mobile homes are 24m2 large for 4+2 people, having two bedrooms (one as king size bed and one with two separated beds), living room, kitchen, bathroom and terrace with barbecue.

Guest in all mobile homes can enjoy free internet, air-conditioning and satellite television. Dogs are allowed to stay in mobile homes in camping Baska (with additional fee).

Rental of mobile homes and caravans can be done through agency Gebetsroither.
