Free Beach Camping is one of the many campsites in Marina di Bibbona, on the west coast of Tuscany, Italy. It is a campsite beautifully set next to a wooded nature reserve, through which you can walk to the sandy beach. The medium-sized campsite, which can accommodate around 1800 guests, offers glamping units, mobile homes and pitches.
The pitches are grassy, offer some natural shade, and are equipped with electricity and shared water hook-ups nearby. There is no drainage. Pets are allowed on the pitches. The sanitary facilities are adapted for disabled people, and also provide washing, drying and storage facilities for caravans.
There is one large and one smaller children's pool. If you want to swim in the sea, you can walk to the blue-flag sandy beach (or take a mini shuttle). There are sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach, a section of the beach is for dogs and there is also a bar. There is a restaurant on site, as well as a small shop with fresh fruit and vegetables.
There is a lot going on at the campsite: from activities for young and old by the pool, to shows, competitions, group exercise classes, games and a miniclub for children.
There are football and volleyball courts, and you can go fishing by the lake. The paths through the forest reserve are great for walking and cycling.
The pretty village of Bolgheri is close to Marina di Bibbone and can be reached by bike, while day trips can be made to some of the classic Tuscan destinations such as Pisa, Florence, Volterra or the island of Elba.
