Basic information

Camping Baia Holiday Baia Blu La Tortuga - Sardinia is located in the northern part of this famous Italian island of Sardinia. The campsite is located 70 km from Olbia Ferry Port and the nearest major town is Aglientu. The camping is part of the Baia Holidays campsites and is proud holder of the ADAC Superplatz award.

Campsite accepts the Avtokampi Camping Card, which will make camping holidays more affordable. You can find the discount details below and you can order the card through your user profile.

Guests can choose to camp on well-arranged camping pitches or rent mobile homes. Camps is located right by the sea and the sandy beach, where the camping pitches are shaded by pine trees. Due to the constant wind, the Baia Holiday Baia Blu La Tortuga campsite is a popular destination for surfing and kiting enthusiasts.

Camping is possible on 450 camping pitches equipped with electricity, some also have access to water and drainage. The pitches in the central part of the camp are more shady, and those in the first rows by the sea are sunnier. The four sanitary facilities are beautifully decorated, adapted for children and the disabled. Laundry facilities and camper service area are also available.

The beach next to the camp is sandy (600m), and only a few minutes walk away is the famous beach Vignola Mare. Sun loungers and parasols can be rented on the beach.

The campsite has renovated swimming pool complex, which also includes a children's water playground, a swimming pool, a children's pool and massage pools. The use of swimming caps is mandatory for all guests.

The camp has a shop, restaurant, pizzeria and beach bar. They also provide half board or full board arrangement for all the guests. Great animation is organized for children in the summer months, mini club and evening animation. There are quite a few sports courts in the camp, e.g. volleyball, tennis, table tennis and fitness- Camps is also great starting point for hiking trips.

There is a surf center on the beach with the possibility of renting equipment as well as surfing and kiting courses. A diving center is also there.

Dogs are allowed in the camp, they also have a shower for dogs, but unfortunately there is no dog beach in the camp (access to the beach for dogs is allowed only in the morning or evening, between 20h - 8h).

Camp's location is great for several daily trips for exploring this interesting island. We recommend a visit to the islands of Maddalena and Caprera (the ferry runs from Palau), where you will find beautiful beaches and a nature park. In the far north, you can explore the city of Santa Teresa di Gallura and enjoy the amazing sunsets at the nearby Cape Tepo.

When booking a camping pitchs or a mobile home, they will also send you an offer to buy ferry tickets. The most commonly used ferry is on the route Livorno - Olbia, where the ride usually takes 9-10 hours, so it is best to use a night ferry.

    Very nice stay with a wonderful restaurant, animation and aqua park. The wifi would have cost €5 per day and the free wifi was exactly!!! only available in the cafe and restaurant. We would consider it more standard, with no extra charge.
