Basic information

Set in the picturesque Tuscan countryside, Camping Valle Gaia is near Casale Marittimo, just 8 km from the Tyrrhenian coast.

The campsite offers 220 pitches, ranging in size from 60 to 130 m², suitable for tents and motorhomes of all sizes. Each pitch is separated by evergreen shrubs and oleanders, with shade provided by mighty Mediterranean pine trees. Standard pitches have a 6-amp electric hook-up, while 'comfort' pitches have an additional water and drainage hook-up. For those looking for more comfort, apartments are also available.

The campsite boasts two swimming pool complexes, comprising a total of four pools - two large and two smaller. These pools are popular with adults and children alike, as they offer the opportunity for serious swimming as well as for play and relaxation.

The campsite has two restaurants serving traditional Tuscan fish, seafood and meat dishes, delicious pizzas, salads and first courses in the pleasant garden and takeaway options. There are also 2 bars by the pools.

For active guests, the campsite offers a range of sports facilities, including a tennis court, a mini-football court and a beach volleyball court. There is also an outdoor fitness centre, and children can have fun at the mini club and the new "miniGaiavillage" playground. The animation team regularly organizes tournaments and activities for all ages.

Near the campsite are medieval villages such as Casale Marittimo, famous for its Etruscan excavations, Montescudaio, Bibbona with its old town and Bolgheri, home to the famous Sassicaia winery.

Visitors can enjoy local festivals, country fairs and cultural events from spring to autumn. The town of Cecina, just 6 km away, offers well-equipped beaches, a promenade with restaurants and a lively summer season. The Tomboli di Cecina Nature Reserve, between Marina di Cecina and Marina di Bibbona, offers dense forests with walking and cycling paths and picnic areas.
