A new campsite (formerly just a camper stop) was set up on the Soriska planina mountain, where there is space for about 30 tents and 20 campers. The campsite is located in the immediate vicinity of the Soriska planina ski slope and the log cabin - on the other side of the road.

Camping Soriska planina is open all year round. A small sanitary facility has been set up and electricity is available at the pitches. Most of the camping area is arranged on the meadow and some of the space is also in the forest where pitches are more shaded. Campsite guests have free internet access in the nearby log cabin and excellent local dishes are served at the restaurant.
Soriska planina is a beautiful mountain pasture with a unique location and magnificent views, offering a wealth of activities for all generations throughout the year. A guided hike along the former Rapalski border, which takes place several times during the summer months, is a particularly special experience. There is also a bike park with three bike trails: family, red, and black, with a total length of 5 km - transport for cyclists by chairlift.
In summer provides Soriska planina numerous hiking trips suitable for families, like hike to Lajnar and Slatnar from where there is a beautiful view of many valleys and hills. In winter, there is a ski slope with 7km of ski slopes, with two chairlifts, three ski lifts and one children's ski lift. They also provide 5 km of cross-country skiing, and some of the trails are also suitable for ski touring.

Kamp je bil čisto poln, tako da je veliko avtodomov in osebnih avtomobilov parkiralo na parkirišču. Ker so vsi koristili sanitarije v kampu (samo dva wc-ja, en moški en ženski in 2 tuša) je bila gneča temu primerna. Priključki za elektriko so bili vsi zasedeni. Vse skupaj je zgledalo kot na pol divje kampiranje, kjer so eni plačali, eni pač izkoristili gužvo in lepo zastonj kampirali. Kontrole ni bilo.
Škoda, da v kampu ne uredijo večjih sanitarij, saj je prostor lep in poleti prav paše bit na svežem in bolj ohlajenem gorskem zraku.
