Basic information

Camping Bela krajina - Podzemelj is located along the road Metlika – Crnomelj, right after the village podzemelj. It is located on the bank of one of the warmest and cleanest rivers in Slovenia, Kolpa, in beautiful, untouched natural environment. Campsite offers camping on arranged pitches and glamping celtic huts.

Campsite accepts the Avtokampi Camping Card, which will make camping holidays more affordable. You can find the discount details below and you can order the card through your user profile.

Camping lovers have awarded Camping Bela Krajina - Podzemelj in selection Best camping Adria 2022 as the best small campsite in Slovenia.

NEW in campsite Bela krajina - Podzemelj - renovation of the adrenaline park, with a new zip-line in the children's area, a children's playroom with climbing frames in the attic, which will be particularly interesting in bad weather, and a covered picnic area.

Camping Bela krajina - Podzemelj has around 70 camping pitches arranged on a meadow and newly arranged part for campers. Sanitary facilities have been renovated and include chem toilet. Gastronomic offer has been improved and new terrace with view across river Kolpa added.

The Kolpa River warms up nicely in summer, so swimming is possible. The campsite has a waterfront, a small part of which is paved, and a raft on the river.

In the camp complex you can find friendly restaurant with summer terrace and diverse gastronomic offer. Next to it is children's playground, interesting is as well adrenaline park with two tracks, one of them can be used by kids older than 4 years.

There are many sports facilities offered: beach volleyball, table tennis, mini golf, basketball, smaller football, it is as well possible to rent electric bicycles for exploring surrounding on arranged cycling paths. For feeling the rivers Kolpa, Lahinja and Doblicica, we recommend you to rent a SUP board or canoe. Common barbecue and picnic places are arranged.

Mobile homes for 4 or 6 persons have two or three bedrooms (additional beds can be arranged in the living room). All mobile homes have kitchen, living room and terrace.

The rental price of a mobile home includes accommodation for 4 or 6 adults, 2 children and one car. All mobile homes have air condition (heating and cooling). Smaller dogs (up to 10 kg) are allowed in the houses.

Mobile rooms are reduced apartments in mobile homes intended primarily for couples and young families. Dogs are also allowed at an additional cost.

Glamping houses in Camping Bela krajina - Podzemelj - spend romantic holidays in glamping Celtic huts for 2 persons on the banks of river Kolpa.

This are wooden houses with terrace, one of the houses is changed into sauna. Guests are also offered a breakfast with local delicacies, which they deliver in basket to the doorstep of the wooden hut.

Z dvema predšolskima mulcema in našo psičko smo prvič kampirali ob Kolpi. Navdušeni! Super kamp ob reki, veliko prostora za šotor v senci in velika travnata plaža za poležavanje in igro. Kolpa je bila topla, skakanje, potapljanje in lovljenje ribic...naš vsakdan :) Kamp je lepo vzdrževan in osebje je zelo prijazno. Prijetna gostinska terasa z panoramskim pogledom na reko. Ker smo bili prvič v Beli krajini, nam je receptorka prijazno svetovala kaj se splača obiskat. Iszposodli smo si tudi kanu. Tok reke je primeren tudi za mlajše otroke. Imajo tudi adrenalinski park za najmlajše. Pomanjkljivost je bila, da so hrano stregli samo za vikend in tudi bližnja gostilna v vasi je bila zaprta. Drugače je pa trgovina v vasi 5 min peš. V glavnem super izkušnja in priporočam.

V tem kampu smo kampirali že večkrat, sicer sedaj par let ne, ampak vidim, da se ni kaj dosti spremenilo. Najprej bom pograjal cenik, na avtokampi.si je druga cena kot jo imajo v kampu. Za odraslo osebo računajo 16eur, kar me je pa še bolj zmotilo, da je na avtokampi.si napisano, da je predsezona do 22.6., v kampu na recepciji pa imajo napisano da je do 20.6. Torej je bil skupni račun občutno dražji, kot smo prvotno računali glede na cene objavljene na tej strani, saj so računali glavno sezono, pa še tam imajo višje cene kot na tem ceniku. Če potegnem črto, pride kampiranje v tem kampu dražje kot dopust na morju.

Druga graja, sanitarije bi se lahko bolj pogosto čistile. Za to ceno bi človek pričakoval, da bodo vedno čiste in na voljo vedno wc papir.

Tretja graja. Zvečer si je skupina gostov pred mobilnimi hiškah priredila zabavo, muzika do konca na glas, vreščanje, kričanje vse do 2h zjutraj. Človek pride tja na dopust, ne moti me če se kje sliši glasba, samo ni pa to diskoteka da bo galama do jutra. Sploh pa če plačaš toliko.

Edino kar lahko pohvalim je reka Kolpa, prekrasna, čista reka, to je tudi vse kar jih rešuje. Drugače mislim, da bi lahko hitro vse skupaj zaprli. Škoda, ker potencial ima ogromen, samo ne moreš samo zaračunati, moraš tudi nekaj nazaj vložiti. Za primer si naj vzamejo kamp Menina.

Definitivno dalec najbolj urejen in druzinam primeren kamp ob Kolpi. Krasna lokacija, plaza in dostop v vodo za majhne otroke, zalivcek z nizko vodo, za vecje pa je pomol za skakanje in tarzan. Imajo pa prakticno vse, igrala, igrisca, adrenalinski park, res veliko za pocet, restavracijo z lepo teraso, dobro izhodisce za kolesarjenje. Veliko sprehajalnih poti iz kampa za sprehode s kuzkom, pa tudi mali agility imajo. Sanitarije so ciste in ogrevane. Parcele so travnate, za sotore je res veliko sence. Se pridemo!

Prijeten kamp, zaposleni so prijazni. Dostop do vode je lepo urejen, v kampu je travnata plažica. Restavracija je samopostrežna in nudi bolj kot ne klasično "fastfood" ponudbo. Kolpa je tu bistveno bolj topla kot v zgornjem toku, kar pomeni tudi da je voda malce manj prosojna, a še zmeraj deluje čisto. Voda je v sredini reke dovolj globoka, da se na čisto normalno plavati.

Gre pa bolj za družinski tip kampa, bila sva ena redkih brez otrok. Adrenalinski park je bil kljub ne ravno polni zasedenosti kampa dobro obiskan, je pa v kampu še nekaj drugih igral, tako da otrokom (izgleda) ni dolgčas. Bližnje trgovine nisva uspela "preizkusiti", saj je bil ravno praznik, je pa dovolj blizu kampa, da se da iti do nje peš.

Kamp, katerega prednost je nizka deroča Kolpa posebej primerna za kopanje. Na vsakem koraku imaš občutek kako izžeti še kakšen dodatni EUR-o. Izposoja skoraj vsakega rekvizita se plača... npr. Izposoja žoge, balinčkov, šah na prostem. Otroci v kampu tavajo ker jih enostavno starši ne morejo vedno zagotavljati sredstva za zabijanje prostega časa. Lahko bi tudi malce uredili igrala ker jih je začel zob časa. Okolica na videz neurejena. Polno visoke trave in glede na velik obisk umazani sanitariji.
