Basic information

Glamping Virje (ex Base Camp Bovec) is located in the immediate vicinity of the lower station of the cable car to Kanin. It is set up as a small boutique glamping with a combination of well-kept pitches, a tent site, glamping cabins and already pitched tents. Vehicles are not allowed in the campsite and are parked in the reception car park.

Glamping Virje is managed by the Bovec Sport Centre, which also offers a number of sports activities for which guests of the campsite receive an additional discount.

There are six camping pitches measuring 10 x 8,5 m, suitable for larger tents, equipped with electricity and a small fridge (45l). For smaller tents, there are 10 pitches in the unmade area.

Glamping cabins for two people can be rented, equipped with a small fridge, kettle, coffee and tea, and underfloor heating in the transitional periods.

There are also two 2+1 person tents (with a small fridge), a kettle for coffee and tea and an electricity hook-up.

They also offer rooms for 1-2 people and apartments for 2-4 people.

There are toilets, laundry facilities, a covered terrace and a fireplace, and an adventure park right next to the campsite, which is designed for families and includes trails suitable for children as young as 3 years old, as well as rafting, kayaking, kayaking, canyoning, mountain biking, special bikes from Kanin, and zip-lining on the rope from Kanin or Učje.
