Basic information

Hunting and forestry lodge Vahta now also enables camping, parking of motorhomes and rental of glamping houses.

The location is at the top of the Vahta pass, 13 km from Novo mesto or 14 on the other side of Metlika. Next to the home, they have arranged a place for setting up tents, in addition, there is a arranged stop for campers and wooden glamping houses for 2-3 people.

The camping part is arranged on a grassy base, where it is possible to connect to electricity.

Guests have access to sanitary facilities, a sports field for football, basketball and bowling, and of course a beautiful natural environment for hiking and biking trips. Many of them set off from Vahta, which lies at an altitude of 615 meters, to Trdinov vrh (1,178 m).

The location is also a suitable starting point for visiting the baths along the river Kolpa. Shared socializing place is arrange, where fire can be lit and barbecue prepared. There is a bar, but restaurant is planned for near future.

Lodge Vahta enables the rental of wooden houses equipped with two beds and the possibility of placing an additional extra bed, e.g. for the child. The glampin lodges are located in the upper part of the camping area and are equipped with electricity and heated.

Guests have access to shared toilets, and dogs are also allowed in the cottages.

Camper stop Vahta allows parking for 9 campers. They allow connection to electricity and the use of toilets in the lodge.

Unfortunately, chemical toilet for emptying the chem cassettes nor water discharging unit are not arranged.
