Basic information

Kolpa Resort is set in the village of Krasinec, just off the main road from Metlika to Črnomelj. Guests can rent modern and very spacious glamping tents and small wooden houses, as well as classic camping on well-groomed pitches from 2024.

The location is 500 metres from the Kolpa River.

It is a glamping site which has extended its offer to camping. It is set on the grounds of a former castle, which offers just enough privacy, but also beautiful open views of the surrounding hills and valleys.

The central part of the resort is dedicated to a natural swimming pool, where you can enjoy the water in the summer months.

NEW > There are 6 pitches with electricity, water and drainage for campers, and toilets are available.

The resort will also open a pumptrack, a bicycle rental service, and a bicycle storage room for guests, expected to open in June 2024.

There is a mini bar, a reading corner, a children's playground with wooden games and an open fire for evenings around the fire.

Dogs are allowed on the camping pitches, but not in the glamping tents and wooden cabins.

Homemade breakfasts made from local produce are also available.

The proximity of the Kolpa River offers water activities, beautiful cycling trails in the immediate vicinity, horse riding, the nearby Podzemelj adrenaline park and the surrounding ponds for sport fishing, and of course friendly people, good local food and drink. All this and much more are good reasons to visit this idyllic corner of Slovenia.

Glamping description

Kolpa Resort offers 7 glamping tents for rent - there are 3 different sizes and different furnishing options:

- glamping tent for 2+1 persons (15 m2), double bed, extra bed, mini fridge, kettle and toilet.

- glamping tent for 4+1 persons (40 m2), two double beds + extra bed, kitchen and bathroom (toilet and shower)

- glamping tent for 4+2 persons (54 m2) with jacuzzi, two double beds + extra bed, kitchen and bathroom (toilet and shower)

All glamping tents have air conditioning to cool and heat the room and a furnished outdoor terrace.

There are also seven wooden chalets:

- 4-person chalet (22 m2), double bed, twin beds, mini kitchen, mini fridge, shared toilet, shared showers in the main house, air conditioning. Next to the holiday house is a terrace with table and chairs.

Dogs are not allowed in the glamping tents and wooden chalets.
