Basic information

Valamar Camping Padova - Rab is located in the village of Banjol on the island of Rab, only 2 kilometers south of the very town of Rab, which leads along the coastal promenade, and a taxi boat is also driving from the campsite. The camp has space for 1,500 people and allows camping on arranged camping pitches, camping on the small part that is not divided in the pitches and rental of mobile homes for 2 or 4 people.

Campsite accepts the Avtokampi Camping Card, which will make the camping more affordable. The discount is listed at the price list of the campsite - order for free and get camping card by email.

NEW - Hilltop Green Village mobile homes on a hill overlooking the sea - larger family homes and smaller homes for couples available. In recent years, Camping Padova has built a swimming pool with waterslide and heated water, new camping pitches, new mobile homes, renovated toilets, a sports field and a market.

Padova campsite is categorized with 4 stars and has 250 arranged camping pitches equipped with electricity and water, and some pitches have sewage. Larger part of the camp - by the sea and at the back, is not divided into pitches (app 120 camping places), where reservations are not possible. In the campsite Padova, in certain areas, they also allow parking of larger campers longer than 8m. Some camping pitches are more shady, while the others are only partially shaded or mostly sunny throughout the day.

The camp has 4 nicely decorated sanitary facilities, also suitable for people with disabilities. There is a camper supply station, a dog shower, and a fenced area for walking dogs are arranged.

The beach in the camp of Padova is diverse - the central part is the combination of sand and gravel, and the left and right of the camp, the beach is mostly pebbled. In the sea there is a water park with inflatable gears, as well as rental of SUP boards, deck chairs and umbrellas. By the sea there is a children's playground, children's playroom and organized animation are also available.

The camp also has all the other services: shop, bakery, restaurant, shop, pizzeria, fruit and vegetable shop. The camp also has free internet access and offers possibility of renting bicycles, pedal boats, SUP boards and boats. There are table tennis courts, new sport field and there are also cycling routes in the area.

There is a ferry from the island of Krk to the island of Rab, where the port is arranged in Valbiska and the ferry runs an hour and 20 minutes. The second ferry line to the island of Rab drives from Stinica, where the journey takes only 15 minutes.

Mobile homes description

Rental of mobile homes at camping Padova on the island of Rab - in the campsite you can rent several different types of mobile homes.

In 2024, the Hilltop Green Village mobile home village was built on a hill in the central part of the campsite, where there is a beautiful view of the sea. These are 90% made from natural and recycled materials. There are family houses for 4+2 people (38 m2) with two bedrooms and large terraces, as well as smaller houses for couples (18 m2).

There are also newer and more spacious mobile homes Premium (35m2) and Premium suite (40m2), which can accommodate 4 people and 2 extra beds. These mobile hoems are located in the terraces above the sea. Couples will most probably look for for the new Premium Camping Chalet mobile home (18m2), which also have their own bathroom and kitchen.

All mobile homes are air-conditioned, equipped with satellite TV and internet access. In most of the mobile homes in the Padova camp, dogs are allowed to stay at an additional cost.

    Super kamp, lep sprehod do mesta Rab. Prijazno osebje, zelo čiste sanitarije, poleg tega sem dobila še lepo presenečenje za rojstni dan. :) In super popust s kartico avtokampi.si. :)​​

    Premajhen in posledično prenatrpan bazen za odrasle, polek tega je cca 3 dni bila v bazenu zelena voda ki je tudi zaudarjala.
    Prenatrpana plaža zato smo se morali voziti na druge, in pa po mojem mnenju bi morali prepovedati "rezervacijo plaže" ki je pripomogla k brezevezni zasedenosti plaže.
    Imeli pa smo tudi slabo izkušnjo z rezervacijo ki po besedah zaposlene na recepciji ni bila veljavna oziroma karikiram:" Za šotor se ne da rezervirati parcele." Vendar nam je to druga prijazna gospodična uredila in je bilo vse kot dogovorjeno ob rezervaciji.
    Pohvale: za mlajšo gospodično ki nam je rešila rezervacijo, zelo lepo pospravljeno in urejeno, pester animacijski program, prijazno osebje v mini klubu, čisti toaletni prostori, lepe urejene in senčne parcele.​​
