Basic information

Camping Sobec - Lesce has been for many years ranked in the highest category and is warmly recommended by the European auto-mobile and camping clubs. It is located in the nice pine woods with smaller lake and river Sava Dolinka with breath taking view over the Julian Alps and Karavanken. It is located only 3km from the highway Jesenice – Ljubljana, along the road towards Bled. Camping Sobec can host up to 2.500 people, that are looking for peaceful holidays in nature and sport activities.

Camping Sobec offers the campsite's well-maintained pitches or in the non-parcaled part of the campsite, rent glamping tents for 4 people or Bell tents for 2 people, or a modern apartment for 4 people.

Campsite Sobec accepts the Avtokampi Camping Card, which will make camping holidays cheaper. The discount is listed at the price list of the campsite.

Camping lovers have awarded Camping Sobec in selection Naj kamp Adria 20244 as the best large campsite in Slovenia.

NEW - new WC 6 in the lower part of the campsite, private bathrooms, renovated sports field and mini-golf, charging station for electric vehicles, possibility of renting tents for 2 persons (Bell tents), development of pitches in the premium zone along the Sava River, construction of a new wooden bridge over the river, flood protection.

Campsite Sobec has more than 200 arranged camping pitches that are located by the pond and river Sava. Pitches have electricity and water connection, half of them also sewage. Larger part of the campsite (300 camping places) stayed non-divided into pitches, but enables connection to electricity. Majority of the pitches are well shaded.

Camping Sobec also offers Alpine-style bungalows for 5+1 persons. There are 10 bungalows, each with a kitchen, bathroom, living room and two bedrooms upstairs. Dogs are not allowed in the bungalows.In the building above the restaurant there is also a luxury apartment for 4 + 2 persons.

Restaurant with market and bar was fully renovated recently.

Campsite has five sanitary blocks, among which one is heated and is equipped also with table for changing the baby and bathroom for disabled. There are as well laundry with seven washing machines and two drying machines, camper supply station and car wash.

Sports facilities include tennis courts, football, basketball, beach volleyball, badminton, mini golf, climbing wall for children. The campsite also offers bicycle hire and organizes rafting excursions. There are also many hiking destinations nearby. In summer, kids animation is organized, they can as well play on several playgrounds around the site.

There is nice lake arranged for relaxing swimming and play in the water. Special part is organized for the youngest visitors, as well as various activities on water and zipline. Near the campsite there is also a golf course and a horse-riding center. There is a free wifi throughout the camp.

Dogs are welcome in the camping Sobec - a dog shower has been arranged for them, dogs are not allowed to swimm in the lake, but it is allowed in the river in the lower part of the campsite and in the upper part near the tent place.

Glamping description

Glamping tents at Camping Sobec - a small village of four glamping tents for up to 4 people is set up in the central part of the campsite.

These are modern tents equipped with two bedrooms (double bed and twin bunk beds), a kitchenette (stove, fridge and necessary kitchen equipment) and a terrace. There is a parking space next to the tent and wifi is available. Bathroom facilities are shared in the nearby newer sanitary building S2.

Glamping (bell) tents for 2 people - 15 small tents are set up near sanitary facility 3. These are tents with two single beds, a small table, chairs, electricity and wifi. Bed linen and towels are not provided and must be brought by the guest.

Big but beautiful camp with a lake that is refreshing but warm enough for swimming. It is possible to swim in river as well but it is very cold. There is lot of space around the lake and rather easy to find shaded spot.

In peak season you will occasionally need to wait for shower and toilet. Latter being bigger issue if you are with small kids.

WiFi is not working at all during the day - you can connect but internet is so slow that almost everything times out. It is not possible to plan next day over it. It gets better after 23:00.

Reception was very fast during check-in and check-out despite being peak season.

There is a market within the camp with everything you need. It will run out of cold beer every evening so plan in advance.

Parcela je bila lepa in dovolj velika, z dovolj sence. Kamp je lepo urejen in čist. Klima je res super, v največji vročini je bilo prijetno hladno, sploh pa ponoči. Bajer zelo lepo urejen za kopanje. Osebje na splošno prijazno predvsem mlajši. Vendar...
Izredno neprijazni varnostniki na cesti pred kampom pred check-inom. Čakali smo na check-in 30min. Čakali smo večkrat za WC in zvečer za tuše. Nekateri WCji brez papirja, kljuk, potrebni obnove. Največji problem pa je izrazito preglasna glasba cel dan jih cel večer v bifeju na plaži. Sliši se jo okrog in okrog bajerja. Kako osebje tam zdrži, pa raje ne razmišljam. Res pa je bil ponoči po 22:30 mir in tišina. V glavni restavraciji smo morali klicati natakarje za naročilo in plačilo. Cene v kampu in v restavraciji zelo visoke, precej previsoke za nivo storitve. Recimo bili pred kratkim v Uliki, boljša storitev za pol nižjo ceno (oboje premium parcela). Cene v restavracijah so tam 25-30% nižje.

Zelo lepo urejen kamp, skoz skrbijo za čistočo tudi med parcelami in peš poteh, trudijo se tudi z animacijo otrok. Vse pohvale tudi za izredno prijaznost zaposlenih. Sem se drugo leto vrnem zagotovo.
