Basic information

Camping Park is located in the central part of the Spodnja Savinjska valley, just next to river Savinja. From the highway Celje – Ljubljana, which you need to leave by the exit Sempeter, is only 250m away.

With 20 camping places and a capacity of up to 45 people, it belongs to the category of small family camps. The owners live in a house next to the campsite. The temperate continental climate and the grassy area of the camp enable a pleasant holiday.

The camp has all the necessary infrastructure (electricity, toilets with showers with solar heated water, place for washing the dishes, washing machine, laundry drying), and free use of refrigerator, Wifi and outdoor fireplace.

Fishing is possible in the Savinja River, and walking and cycling paths are arranged along it. There are several playgrounds (golf, basketball, volleyball) in the vicinity, so recreation is well taken care of. You can go to the nearby hills on foot or by car and then continue on foot (Hom, Gora Oljka, Mrzlica).

From the cultural and natural sights, the closest to the camping are the Cave of Hell and the Roman necropolis. The Eco Museum of Hops and Brewing and the Beer Fountain are located in Zalec, 6 km away, and the Prebold Historical Collection over time in nearby Prebold.

Within a radius of 20 km there are 4 climbing areas, among them the most famous climbing area Kotecnik, which satisfies even the most demanding climber.

For a real summer refreshment, the first choice is definitely a jump into the Savinja River. Next option is a visit one of the nearby lakes (Velenje, Smartinsko) or the Prebold swimming pool, whose water temperature is around 23 ° C.

If camping is not for you, you can spend the night in rooms located on the 1st floor of the tourist facility. In front of the rooms is a larger terrace overlooking the camp and the river Savinja and the nearby hills.

Ker sta bila kampa višje ob Savinji zasedena, smo se odločili za postanek tukaj. Sprva navidez preveč umirjen kamp za družino z majhnimi otroki se je izkazal za več kot dobrega. Velike zelene in senčne površine, veliko prostora za igro, Savinja v neposredni bližini, kamp zelo urejen, prostor za žar, otroka sta tudi se zelo zabavala s kolesi na bližnjem avto poligonu. Do trgovine Jager in barčkov je nekaj sto metrov. Ostali smo tri dni. Mir nam je prijal bolj kot smo mislili :) Lastnica je zelo prijazna, sanitarije vedno čiste.
