Due to the effects of the floods in August 2023, the camper stop is closed until further notice, but parking is available under the gondola.

Camper stop description

In July 2023, the Golte Ski Resort received a new camper stop Golte. It is a new location just 100m from the old one. It is a "smart" camper stop, where booking and payment are made online and guests enter using a QR code obtained at the time of booking.

The new camper stop has 8 marked parking spaces and provides a complete supply of electricity, fresh water, waste water, a chemical toilet and wifi. There is also a sanitary facility within the car park.

Arrival is possible from 12 noon onwards, but earlier arrival is possible if the car park is not occupied. Check-out is required by 11:00 or in case of longer stays, an extra charge is applicable.

Smart Camper Stop Golte is part of the Golte Mountain Centre, located in the Golte Landscape Park in the heart of the Savinja Valley. The Golte Mountain Centre is easily accessible by the longest funicular in Slovenia, which takes you up to 1,000 metres to an altitude of 1,410 metres in 8 minutes. The lower station of the Žekovec cable car is located right next to the Golte camper stop.

The Golte Ski Resort has 12 km of ski slopes at an altitude of between 1,280 and 1,576 metres. Access to the ski slopes is possible via the Žekovec gondola or the panoramic road. The ski slopes are suitable for all skiers, especially families with children. The ski lifts include one three-seater and two two-seater ski lifts, 2 ski lifts and a children's ski conveyor belt. In 2023, two new four-seater ski lifts will be built (replacing one two-seater and one lift). For beginners, there is a ski school if you want to learn to ski on the slopes.

ARRIVAL / CHECK-IN: On the day of arrival, check-in for a parking space is possible from 12:00. Earlier arrivals are possible if the car park is not occupied or reserved.

DEPARTURE / CHECK-OUT: On the day of departure, check-out from the parking space must be made by 11:00 at the latest. Only one departure is possible on the day of departure. Later departures are only possible if the car park is not occupied or reserved. In this case, a new reservation and a surcharge will be required.

PAYMENT: A valid credit card is required to guarantee your reservation. In the event of a no-show or cancellation, your card will be charged in accordance with the cancellation policy below.
