Alta Badia – Corvara ski area also includes ski slopes in Colfosco, San Cassiano and also on the Campolongo, Falzarego and Grödnerjoch passes. So there is a single ski pass for the whole area, which is still a few euros cheaper than the Dolomiti Superski ski pass. This allows skiing on 16 ski resorts in the Dolomites and a total of 1,200 kilometres of pistes.

Ski resort Alta Badia - Corvara is very suitable for children and those who want to enjoy wide and not too steep slopes, thanks to its many blue runs. With 70 kilometres of blue runs, you won't be able to ski them in a day. Most of the slopes are just above La Villa and San Cassiano. The cable car takes you to 2000 m in just a few minutes and then you can enjoy skiing. For children, the slopes on the Colfosco section of the ski resort, which is on the road from Corvara to Val Gardena, are also very suitable.
NEW - The Braia Fraida 6-chair lift, which replaced the old 4-chair lift, thus increasing the skier throughput. It is a heated chairlift also equipped with protective covers. It is located on the section linking Corvara with Alto Badio - further from the Col Alto gondola.
Better skiers will enjoy the 52 kilometres of red and 8 kilometres of black runs, the most famous of which is the Gran Risa, where the men's World Cup giant slalom is held every year a few days before Christmas. There's a starting house at the start of the run, so you'll feel like a real competitor.

The ski slopes and numerous viewing platforms offer beautiful views of the surrounding mountains in sunny weather.
One of the best viewpoints is at the top of the Boe (Corvara) cable car, where you'll also find the Piz Boe Alpine Lounge restaurant, or even a little higher if you take the Vallon chairlift up to 2,550 metres.
In recent years, the Alta Badia ski area has seen the renovation of a number of lifts, such as the 10-chair La Crusc 2, the Costoratta 8-chair lift, as well as the Sodlisia 8-chair lift in Colfosco, the La Brancia 6-chair lift and, this year, another 6-chair lift.
All the cableway installations ensure that there is hardly any crowding in front of the lifts, only occasionally on the Sella Ronda route, e.g. in front of the Corvara - Piz Boe and Borest cable cars, where there is a main connection to Arabba or Colfosco.
The ski area also has lots of fun areas for children - there is a timed giant slalom race, a snow park with ski jumps, a children's snow park with playgrounds and a cross-country ski track, a timed downhill ski track, etc.

Direct access to Sella Ronda
The Sella Ronda is a must-do day trip on skis around the Sella mountain range if you are a first-timer in this part of the Dolomites. There are 42 kilometres to enjoy, of which 26 kilometres are skiing and the rest is cable car travel.
The Sella Ronda circuit is also suitable for family skiing, which, with a bit of enjoyment and a stop at one of the many huts on the slopes, will take you around 5 hours of skiing.
Sella Ronda is also famous for the four passes you cross: Sella (2240 m), Pordoi (2239 m), Campolongo (1875 m) and Gardena (2121 m).
If you are skiing in Alta Badia, you can start the Sella Ronda at the Boe cable car in Corvara, where you can choose between taking the orange trail in a clockwise direction towards Arabba or the green trail in the opposite direction towards the Colfosco part of the ski area and then on to Val Gardena.
If you are one of the better skiers, you can take the additional route to the Marmolada glacier ski area, where a gondola will take you up to 3250 m above sea level, from where you can ski down into the valley and return to Arabba via the Padon Pass.
