Basic information

On a beautiful location just next to river Kolpa you will find well-known restaurant Madronic, where you can as well camp. They offer electricity connection, grills and sanitary facilities. You can spend whole day on a fresh air along the sound of a river. For lunch or dinner, you should not miss their trout.

Here it is possible to sleep as well as on a hayloft to feel how some framers slept years ago. We recommend you a sleeping bad and headlamp.

Madronic is offering ten newly decorated private rooms that have television, air conditioning and bathroom.

The Kolpa River offers plenty of fun activities, from boating, SUP, rafting, fishing or just walking and cycling along the river. The beach at Madronic is also suitable for children, as part of it is pebbly and has a nice entrance to the water, and there is also a dam so that the water is deeper, which also allows rafting boats (for rent at the campsite), electric bikes for hire, and a beach volleyball court for rent.

Prijeten majhen kamp, zaposleni so prijazni. Sanitarije so malce nenavadne, saj sta 2 WCja, 2 koriti za pomivanje posode, 2 tuša in 2 umivalnika v istem prostoru (ni ločeno ženski/moški, kar me sicer ne moti). Letos sva bila v kampu drugič in je bil skoraj prazen, a niti lani, ko je bila večja gužva, v sanitarijah ni bilo prehudo. Če v kampu ni gužve si lahko s šotorom skoraj tik ob reki :)

Dostop do vode je redu, pred jezom je voda dovolj globoka, da se da v njej plavati.

V bližini ni trgovine, je pa v restavraciji možno dobiti zajtrk, pa seveda tudi drugo hrano. To sva sicer preizkusila lani (bilo je OK), letos pa sva sama kuhala.

Majhen družinski kamp ob gostilni. Za wc, tuš in pomivanje posode dobite ključ, pač je vse en prostor, malo po "češko", ampak čisto kul.
Kamp je umirjen, večinoma v senci, do Kolpe je 20 metrov.
Če želite mir, izlete ali kolesarjenje po Beli krajini, je to super plac.
Ni pa fensi šmensi.
