Basic information

Campsite Bilpa is located in the village of Spodnja Bilpa and acts as a place for tents with the possibility of renting glamping wooden houses. The campsite is 12 km away from village Fara and 11 km from Stari trg ob Kolpi.

The Kolpa River offers guests numerous water activities from swimming to rowing on SUP boards, rafting and canoeing. The camp also offers bicycle rental and SUP boards, as well as transporting people to the rafting entry point. There are also many opportunities for road cycling and mountain biking in the area.

On the meadow by the river, under the old apple trees, there is a place for setting up tents. There are also tables and benches, electricity and a car park is in the immediate vicinity. It is possible to park a camper or a van there as well. 

The toilets and the dishwashing area are nicely arranged within the central building.

You can also choose to rent glamping wooden houses or apartments for several people.


Closest shop is village Stari trg, however bread and pastries are brought to the camp every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Glamping description

Glamping wooden houses Bilpa - the campsite offers a rental of five small wooden houses, which are set on a terrace above the road - 50 m from the river Kolpa.

There are smaller houses for 3 people (bed + bunk beds) and larger houses for 4 people (double bed + bunk beds). Each house has its own refrigerator and table with benches. Dogs are also allowed.

They also allow renting four apartments of different sizes, for 4 - 7 people, are air conditioned and equipped with TV, kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms.
