Basic information

Kranjski camp - Premantura is one of smaller campsites in Istria with long tradition as it has been opened since 1963. In season 2018 it was awarded in Naj kamp Adria 2018 selection as 3rd best campsite among smaller campsites in Istria. Kranjski camp is offering camping on arrange camping pitches, rental of mobile homes, caravans and studios.

Campsite accepts the Avtokampi.si Camping Card, which will make the camping more affordable. The discount is listed at the price list of the campsite, and you can order camping card HERE

NEW - in 2024, renovation of toilets, improvement of the lower terrace at the bar, new children's playground, renovation of the seafront fence, and in previous years, fencing of the sports field (basketball, football), children's playroom, and some added games, e.g. handball, air hockey, etc.

Campsite is covering 1.7 ha and has 94 pitches with electricity connection, some have also water connection. It can host up to 360 guests at once. It is located by the beach in bay Runke, which is 1km away from Premantura. Access is the same as for camp Runke. From the beach you will find a beautiful view over Medulin.

Beach has been rearranged in 2017 and is offering combination of sand and pebbles. Access for handicapped guests to the beach and into the sea is arranged. Private rooms and studios have air-conditioning, rental of SUP boards is arranged and children's mini disco organized once a week.

Lower part of the camp is dedicated for campers with their tent, camper or caravans, for the ones coming without their temporary homes they arranged the upper part of camp – you can rent one of 8 built bungalows with terrace. All are equipped with everything you need in kitchen, satellite television and air-conditioning.

It is also possible to rent various caravans with complete camping equipment (for 2, 4 or 5 persons) or stay in one of three studios with bathroom and air-conditioning, that were recently rebuilt.

Beach is sandy and pebbled with some concrete parts arranged for sunbathing. Access for wheelchairs and baby strollers have been arranged.

Sanitary facilities with warm water are arranged as well as laundry place. Water is heated with solar panels. Shop is 200m away, while restaurant is in the camp offers half-board service - daily organized breakfast and dinner. Free internet is available.

For sports lovers they offer courts for basketball, volleyball, table tennis, bowling, billiard, SUP. Additionally, you can rent some other sport equipment. For smallest visitors they have playground and animation in high season arranged.

The price of the pitch depends on the size of the pitch. The pitch price includes space, electricity, car and tent or caravan. There is a maximum of 6 persons per pitch and a maximum of 4 persons per pitch.

Only small dogs are allowed on site, subject to written confirmation from the campsite management.

Caravans for 4-5 people are pitched in well-equipped camping pitches. Gas cooker and cooking facilities, fridge, chairs, table, umbrella. Toilets are shared on site. Washbasins nearby. Bed linen at extra charge.

Studio - three nicely furnished studios for 2 adults + 2 children, up to 12 years or 1 adult, equipped with bathroom, shower-toilet, kitchenette, dining table, double bed and sofa bed and TV, balcony, air-conditioning.

The room is 26 m² with balcony and is suitable for 2 - 3 persons, equipment: fridge, bathroom, balcony, air conditioning. The balconies have a beautiful sea view.

The bungalows have a surface of 35m². Bedroom with double bed, children's room has bunk beds and extra pull-out bed in the children's room (3 persons) or two single beds, kitchen with living area/sofabed (TV) and bathroom. They are equipped with air conditioning, an outdoor area for zar. Covered outdoor terrace 18m2, dining set, 2 sun loungers. Bed linen and towels are included in the rental price.

Fishing houses 16m2 plus, outdoor covered terrace. Double bed and bunk beds, no kitchen or bathroom (shared on site), air conditioning. Next to the cottages there is a covered terrace, which is designed to set up your own kitchen. Electricity, water, table, benches. Possibility of renting cooking equipment and cooker, refrigerated cupboard or small fridge. Bed linen included, towels not included.

Mobile home rental in Kranj Camping Premantura - you can spend the night in a rented mobile home. Two types of mobile homes are available.

The classic Superior mobile homes for 4 people are equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, sleeping area and terrace.

There are also smaller mobile homes (hostels), which are arranged as two rooms with two bunk beds for 4 people each. There are no toilets (shared toilets from the campsite) and no kitchen.

Superior mobile homes - two new mobile homes built in 2023:

Mobile home 1: 32m2 and large outdoor terrace. Two bedrooms, bathroom with shower, toilet, kitchen, air conditioning. Outdoor furniture, deck chairs, barbecue.

Mobile home 2: 21m2, bedroom with double bed, room with bunk beds, bathroom, wc/shower, kitchen, large 21m2 covered wooden terrace, outdoor furniture, deck chairs, outdoor kitchen.

Bed linen and towels included in the rental price. The chalets are located in a quiet and very shady part of the campsite.

The mobile home (21m2) for up to 8 people is divided into two rooms, each with two bunk beds, equipped with electric hook-up, wardrobe. No kitchen, bathroom are shared in the campsite. Each unit has its own separate entrance from the outside (up to 4 persons per unit). Next to the cottages there is a large covered terrace, which is designed to set up your own kitchen. Electricity, tables benches. Possibility of renting cooking equipment and cooker, refrigerated cupboard or small fridge. Bed linen included, towels not included.

Prijeten kamp. Mini izvedba. Mala prodnata plaža, obrnjena na vzhod. Sanitarije ok, vendar zelo šparovni tuši. Prijazno osebje!! 800m do trgovine, restavracij, pekarn.

Imeli smo krasne počitnice. Bungalovi so lepo obnovljeni, veliko zelenja in ravno prav odmaknjeni od kampa... Za druzine z malimi otroci in tudi kosmatinci je to vse, kar si želiš. Pohvala za jutranjo jogo in popoldanske animacije za otroke, odlično hrano v novi restavraciji. Na koncu tedna pa še super koncert, bravo. Še se vrnemo.

Pozdrav vsem. Z ženo (oba sva srednja generacija) sva nedavno obiskala kamp tako, da sva izkoristila možnost najema prikolice. Jaz sem izkušnje s prikolico že imel, žena še ne. Najela sva prikolico tipa B (tri do štiri osebe). Bivala sva en teden.
Pozitivno je to, da je kamp, sicer manjši, prijeten prostor, ogromno zelenja in prijetnih vonjav, senca, ptičjega petja... Tudi plaža nama je ustrezala, ni bila prepolna, ker smo bili še v predsezoni. Res pa je, da plaža od kampa ni prav velika. Osebje prijazno, sanitarije čiste. Tudi restavracija solidna, je pa tako, da ne moreš tam hrano naročevat kadarkoli.

Med bolj zoprnimi stvarmi je morda to, da ima kamp le en sanitarni blok, ki ima po tri tuše za moške in ženske. In če se hočeš tuširat zgodaj zvečer, moraš računat, da se tam nabere osnovnošolske mularije, kar pomeni dolgotrajno čakanje. Z ženo sva to rešila tako, da sva hodila v sosednje Runke (čez plažo na drugo stran), kjer je bil sanitarni blok dovolj velik. Tudi trgovino za najnujnejše zadeve imajo tam, je pa odprta samo do 13h.
Za tiste, ki imajo prikolice locirano skoraj ob morju, je oddaljenost od WC-ja lahko tudi problem. Opazil sem, da tam pavšalisti praktično nimajo neposrednega dostopa z avtom. Sicer je res, da tudi midva nisva mogla parkirat takoj zraven prikolice, tako kot ostali ob cesti, ki vodi do morja. Ampak sva pa imela dovolj blizu (pri garažah, kjer ima hišnik svoje prostore, tam je tudi ena umivalnica za posodo).
V tem času smo imeli tudi obiske divjih prašičev. Eden se je malo izgubil in našel pot skozi ograjo prav pri "najini" prikolici.
Z ženo sva tudi ugotovila, da je do bližnje Premanture najbolje iti peš ali s kolesom. Z avtom težko najdeš parkirno mesto, je že zdaj prometni kaos tam... Na Kamenjak nisva šla, nisva imela koles.
Kar se tiče prikolice, ki jo kamp oddaja. Prostor za spanje je kar nekako stisnjen (390 cm je dolžina cele prikolice), ampak sem bil navajen. Zunanji prostor z "arafatom" ni bil postavljen pred baldehinom, ampak nekje zadaj (je taka parcela). Začetna izkušnja je bila malo travmatična, ker zna biti kuhanje v baldehinu kar vroče, je pa dvojni plinski kuhalnik in en hladilnik, na trenutke mi je obupno primanjkovalo delovnega prostora. Baldehin ni imel oken z mrežo na žalost. Zelo prav bi prišel kakšen ventilator, še bolj pa dobro nabrušeni noži (tisto je bilo res obup). Hladilnik je bil soliden, škoda le, da tudi tisti v prikolici ni delal. Tu in tam je bil moteč tudi nočni hrup iz bližnjih zabavališč.
Sicer pa prijetno presenečen tudi nad sorazmerno prijaznostjo prebivalcev kampa. Sosedje simpatični. Kul.
