Basic information

Nestled in the enchanting hills of the Chianti region in Tuscany lies the Orlando in Chianti Glamping Resort. The 7-hectare campsite offers mobile homes, apartments, glamping units and pitches. They range in size from 30 to 100 m2, sleep 4 to 7 people and have electricity. The pitches can also accommodate dogs.

In addition to the traditional camping units, you can also stay in one of the 2 converted American buses.

The sanitary facilities are well-equipped, suitable for disabled people, and provide laundry and caravan care.

The campsite has a large swimming pool complex with heated water, including a children's pool with a slide, games and water spray guns, a swimming pool and a larger communal jacuzzi. Children will have fun in the company of Spotty the Dalmatian, and there are also workshops, a mini club, sports and music events and a games room. Adults will enjoy road and mountain biking, golf, archery, horse riding and football.

The campsite has an excellent bistro/restaurant, which serves Tuscan cuisine alongside top-quality pizzas. As befits the region, you can taste the local Chianti wine, but there is also a selection of fine wines from other wine-growing areas. The campsite also has a well-stocked shop.

The campsite's location makes it an excellent base from which to explore Tuscany. You are about halfway between Florence and Siena, which are ideal destinations for a day trip.

Mobile homes description

The mobile homes are very cleverly placed in the wooded landscape of the campsite, so that some of them resemble tree houses. They vary in size from 16 to 36 m2 and can accommodate 3 to 6 people. Dogs are allowed in some of them. All mobile homes are furnished and air-conditioned, have covered terraces, 1-2 bedrooms and a bathroom.

Free WiFi is available in all of them.

Glamping description

Glamping units vary from 2-storey wooden structures covered with tarpaulins and roof terraces to Indian-style tents or tunnel tents. They can accommodate from 2 to 6 people. The smallest units do not have their own toilets, while the others are fully independent with kitchen and bathroom.

Dogs are not allowed in the glamping units.
