Basic information

Camping Capo d'Orso - Sardinia is located in the northern part of the island, 5 km from the larger town of Palau. It is a small campsite with arranged camping pitches and an option to rent a mobile homes and bungalows.

Campsite accepts the Avtokampi Camping Card, which will make camping holidays more affordable. The discount is listed at the price list of the campsite - order for free and get camping card by email.

Location Capo d'Orso is located in one of the most beautiful coastal areas of Sardinia. Nearby is the famous Costa Smeralda and the archipelago of La Maddalena with many islands, the island Caprera being the most known one. Just 3 km from the camp is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Sardinia - Roccia dell’Orso known as bear rock. It is a granite rock at the top of a cape carved by the wind over millions of years. From the top of the cliff there is a beautiful view of this part of Sardinia and the smaller islands.

Camping Capo d'Orso offers 250 camping pitches equipped with electricity, and some also have water and drainage. Few pitches are arranged primarily by the sea. Last year, one toilet was renovated, and in 2021, another facility, so that now both will be much more modernly equipped and adapted for children and people with disabilities.

The campsite has two smaller and two larger sandy beaches, so children don’t miss the fun. They have arranged showers for dogs, and they can only walk on the beach in the morning and in the evening (until 8 am or after 8 pm). A real dog beach is 5 km away from the camp - Punta Nera beach - Palau.

There is a restaurant in the camp, which offers mainly fish and meat dishes, a pizzeria, a bar and a shop. They organize a variety of animation for children in the summer months.

For sports fans, there are football, volleyball and tennis courts, a surfboard and a diving center with courses and equipment rental. The camp also offers rental of bicycles and kayaks, but you can also choose to rent a boat and drive between the islands of the archipelago La Maddalena (Caprera, Santo Stefano, Spargi, Budelli, Santa Maria) and see the most beautiful beaches.

Camping Capo d'Orso - Sardinia mobile homes for rental

The campsite offers rental of different types of mobile homes, which are located on the right side of the camp.

There are mobile homes for 4 - 6 people, which have two or even three bedrooms. All mobile homes have their own kitchen, bathroom and are air conditioned. Dogs are also allowed in most of them.

The camp also offers rental bungalows for 2, 4 or 6 people, located in the central part. They have a small kitchen, bathroom and sleeping area, larger bungalows are also air conditioned. Dogs are allowed in these facilities.
