Norcenni Girasole Village is set near the Arno Valley, about 35 km south of Florence, next to Figline Valdarno. The campsite covers over 12 hectares and can accommodate up to 5000 guests. They can choose from a range of accommodation types, from pitches and glamping tents to mobile homes and apartments. Dogs are welcome in some units.
There are smaller pitches of up to 50 m2 with electricity, primarily for tents, and larger pitches (up to 100 m2) with water and drainage in addition to electricity. All pitches can accommodate up to 8 people and pets are allowed. Functional sanitary facilities are distributed throughout the campsite, allowing washing and drying of laundry, with disabled access and a part of the sanitary facilities adapted for children. The campsite also offers a camper van service.
The campsite has many facilities that will appeal to young and old guests alike. The main attraction is the numerous swimming pools, of which there are 5, including an indoor pool. There is also a soaking lagoon and a pool with a long waterslide. In addition to the pools, there are also restaurants and bars: you can choose between 4 restaurants (one of which offers sushi!), a pizzeria, a patisserie and 3 bars. You can shop in one of the 2 shops and in the small market with fruit and vegetables and fresh bread.
There's no shortage of fun and recreation either: older and younger guests can take part in animation programs, play mini-golf, table tennis, volleyball, football or tennis, take part in group exercise classes, climb in the adventure park or work out in the outdoor fitness centre. The entertainment program in the evenings is also very varied.
The proximity to Florence makes it clear which day trip we recommend, but of course Tuscany is not just Florence. You can hire a bike and explore the area at your own pace, after all the campsite is surrounded by the rolling hills of the Chianti region.
