Basic information

Campsite Velebit is located on the Baška Oštarija mountain pass at an elevation of 927 meters, on the Karlobag–Gospič road. The campsite is just a 20-minute drive from Karlobag and the sea, so the area features a mix of Mediterranean and continental climates.

Campsite Velebit is set on a large meadow equipped with electrical hookups. The restroom facility is well-maintained and features 8 toilets, 8 showers, 10 sinks, a dishwashing area, and two refrigerators. The campsite also has a communal kitchen with all the necessary equipment for food preparation.

The campsite will be especially enjoyed by nature lovers, hikers, and cyclists - mushroom pickers will also find plenty to enjoy. In the summer, daytime temperatures can reach 25°C, while nighttime temperatures are around 15°C.

    Luštn kamp, če si želiš malo miru in odklopa od jadranske gneče in vročine. Kamp je še vedno blizu morja (20km) in istočasno sredi hribov, z veliko planinskimi potmi. Opremljen je z vsem, kar potrebuješ. Ima tudi kuhinjo s posodo ter ognjišče in prostor za žar. Zelo primeren za tiste, ki ne vozijo vse opreme s seboj.​​
