Basic information

The Velebit campsite is located on the Baska Ostarija mountain pass at an altitude of 927 meters, on the Karlobag - Gospic road. The camp is 20 minutes by car from Karlobag and the sea, so the Mediterranean and continental climate are mixed in this area. At Velebit camping they provide rental of glamping Hobit huts and wooden bungalows.

Campsite is open from May to October and is closed only during the Mystic Mountain Festival, which takes place at the end of June (June 22 - 28 2020).

The Velebit campsite is arranged on a large meadow with electricity connections. The sanitary facility is nicely decorated and has 8 toilets, 4 showers, 10 washbasins, place for washing the dishes and two refrigerators. The camp also has a communal kitchen with all the necessary tools for preparing food.

The camp will be enjoyed primarily by nature lovers, mountaineers, cyclists and mushroom lovers. In summer, the air also warms up to 25 ° C during the day, with nighttime temperatures are around 15 ° C.

Glamping at Velebit campit - offers guests rental of wooden glamping hobbit huts as we know them from The Lord of the Rings movie.

There are four small hobbit huts for 2 people and two hobbits for 4 - 6 people. The hobbit has only a sleeping area and a distinctly round door, with beds and shelves.

You can also choose to rent a wooden bungalow for 2 persons.

Luštn kamp, če si želiš malo miru in odklopa od jadranske gneče in vročine. Kamp je še vedno blizu morja (20km) in istočasno sredi hribov, z veliko planinskimi potmi. Opremljen je z vsem, kar potrebuješ. Ima tudi kuhinjo s posodo ter ognjišče in prostor za žar. Zelo primeren za tiste, ki ne vozijo vse opreme s seboj.

Kamp je na zelo lepi lokaciji, zraven glavne ceste, a prometa skorajda ni. Lastnik je prijazen in ustrežljiv, gosti imajo na razpolago kuhinjo z vsemi pripomočki, kar pride zelo prav šotoristom. Okolica je zelo lepa in nudi veliko možnosti preživljanja dopusta. Kamp lahko deluje nekoliko špartanski, ampak nama je prav tako. Cena pa je 10 evrov na osebo, vse vključeno.
