Camping Porat on the island of Ugljan is located in Sušica in the northern part of the island.

The campsite Porat offers natural beauty, peace and shade under pine trees, and crystal clear sea. Here you can enjoy secluded beaches, most of which are rocky.

Camping Porat has 50 camping spots right by the sea—most of them have great shade, but there are also some sunny spots. The bathrooms are clean, there's a place to wash dishes and a chemical toilet, and they also have a washing machine and dryer. Camp guests can also rent refrigerators, kayaks, and SUP boards, and there is Wi-Fi internet and a common area with a barbecue.

You can also rent apartments and caravans.

Near the campsite, there is an area where you can launch a boat into the sea, and moorings are also available.

During the season, a mobile shop comes to the campsite offering baked goods, fruit, vegetables, and ice cream. The shop is 600 m from the campsite, and the restaurant is only 300 m away. For larger purchases, you will need to drive to the town of Ugljan (1.5 km).

I’ve been coming to this campsite for many years because the location is amazing – the nature, surroundings, and sea are beautiful. Unfortunately, the owner does not take care of the campsite and invests nothing into it. The biggest problem is the sanitary facilities, which are absolutely insufficient (2 toilets and 2 showers for men, the same for women). On top of that, they accept far more guests than the campsite can actually handle.

This past August it was unbearable – the sewage system couldn’t cope, one of the toilets was unusable, and a terrible smell spread throughout the campsite. Regular guests often talk about these problems, and this year it really went too far. The saddest part is that we, the guests, end up buying and replacing shower heads ourselves because the owner ignores repeated requests to do so.

The campsite could be wonderful if it were properly maintained, but as things stand now, I can’t recommend it.

Kamp ima odlično lokacijo in velik potencial, žal pa lastnik vanj ne vlaga in ga ne vzdržuje. Največji problem so sanitarije, ki jih je premalo – na voljo sta le dva ženska in dva moška WC-ja ter po dva tuša za oba spola, kar je za število gostov popolnoma nezadostno. V kampu je prijavljenih bistveno več ljudi, kot dopušča kapaciteta, posledično so v glavni sezoni sanitarije preobremenjene.

Avgusta je bila situacija tako kritična, da je bil eden od WC-jev neuporaben, kamp pa je preplavil neprijeten vonj iz kanalizacije. Poleg tega gostje sami kupujejo in menjajo tuš ročke, ker lastnik kljub opozorilom tega ne stori.

Kamp ima res lepo naravno okolje, a zaradi pomanjkljivega vzdrževanja in prezasedenosti ne more zagotoviti niti osnovnih standardov čistoče in udobja. Žal ga zato v trenutnem stanju ne morem priporočiti.

We visited Camping Porat on recommendation of our friends .
Campsite is situated right on the see shore in beutiful pine forest with amazing view. We will come again .
