Camper stop description

Camper stop Planica Caravan Park is a parking place close to the ski jumping hills and cross-country skiing tracks. In 2023, the camper stop was renovated to include a new camper supply area, new electricity hook-up points for a total of 42, and a small heated sanitary facility with male and female toilets and washbasins.

The Planica camper stop is part of the renovated Planica Nordic Centre, where electricity pylons have been installed in the terraced parking spaces. The new parking charge in Planica is € 18 per night, plus € 0.5 per kWh for electricity.

Campervan parking at the camper stop is available all year round - the exception is during the Ski Jumping World Cup. However, caravans are no longer allowed.

They also allow the purchase of an annual parking ticket, which is valid for one year from the date of purchase and is linked to the registration number of the vehicle.

Planica is known as a ski jumping centre, but with its renovation it has become a real Nordic centre with renovated ski jumps and cross-country skiing trails, a cross-country ski school (equipment rental available), a wind tunnel and the Planica zip-line.

There are new wooden playgrounds for children, a football pitch and a disc golf course.

The location of the campervan stop is therefore ideal especially for cross-country skiers, who can go straight from the campervan to the cross-country ski trails, there is a mini ski slope nearby, and in the summer months Planica offers plenty of other sporting activities from cycling around the area to hiking in the Tamar valley, for example.

Zelo lepo urejen PZA. V obdobju našega prenočevanja je bila prisotna tudi prikolica, niso imeli težav (prenočili več noči). Urejen prostor za izliv sivih vod in dotok vode ter čist sanitarni blok.
