Camping Ca' Savio is located on the Cavallino peninsula, which separates the Venetian Lagoon from the Adriatic Sea. It is a popular tourist spot, visited by up to 6 million tourists every year. The 15 kilometres of sandy beaches are home to around 30 different campsites or tourist villages, with a predominance of visitors from Germany, Austria and Denmark.
It is a medium-sized campsite with a capacity of 5600 guests, who can choose among 540 pitches and 225 mobile homes. In addition to these units, there are glamping tents and bungalows.
Two types of pitches are available: the first, in Zone A (up to 100 m2), have both water and electricity, while the second type (Zone B and C, up to 80 m2) have electricity. All pitches offer excellent shade and privacy. There are 3 sanitary facilities in the campsite, which are adapted for both children and disabled people, and each of them has a special place for emptying chemical toilets.
The campsite offers 2 swimming pools, one of which is dedicated to children, with a playground and a slide. The campsite also has a mini market, a la carte restaurant and a fast food kiosk. There is also a bar.
Right next to the campsite is an endless sandy beach, from which a pier/wave breaker cuts into the sea every few 100 metres. There is no natural shade on the shore, so it is essential to have parasols, which can be rented on the beach.
Activities at the campsite include various sports, guided exercise classes, and the surrounding area is ideal for cycling (bikes can also be rented) and hiking.
he highlight of the region is, of course, Venice, which, despite its physical proximity to Cavallino Treporti, is not extremely close by car (approx. 1 hour drive). You can also choose to take the ferry, which takes about the same amount of time, but the ride is more interesting. Once in Venice, however, the only limit is your imagination.
