Camping Baia Holiday Cavallino  will be open until 4 November 2024 and then again from 6 December 2024 until 7 January 2025.

Basic information

Camping Baia Holiday Cavallino - Venice is arranged on the famous tourist peninsula in front of Venice, where guests enjoy a 15 km long sandy beach. The campsite is one of the best in Italy and also boasts the Superplatz award given by the German car club ADAC.

Campsite accepts the Avtokampi Camping Card, which will make camping holidays more affordable. The discount is listed at the price list of the campsite - order for free and get camping card by email.

The Panta Rei Spa wellness centre, with indoor pool, whirlpools, saunas, massages and a beauty centre, was opened at Camping Cavallino in 2021. The wellness centre is available for adults only at an extra charge.

Campsite Cavallino offers 457 well arranged camping pitches equipped with electricity and water connections, as well as rental of mobile homes. Camping Cavallino is part of the Baia Holiday group of camps, which also has campsites elsewhere in Italy, France and Croatia.

The campsite is very suitable for families with small children, as the sandy beach means a lot of fun for children. Additionally, they will be able to enjoy as well a large pool complex, excellent animation and many playgrounds. There are also several sports courts for beach volleyball, football and mini golf.

Dogs are also welcome in the campsite Cavallino, as they have showers in the camp, and a dog beach is marked in front of the camp, which is quite rare in Italy. The sanitary facilities are large and modern, and the camper supply station is arranged as well. Cavallino is well known by its rich gastronomic offer, but they also offer half board or full board in their restaurant.

The location of the Cavallino campsite is interesting for beautiful walks by the sea. There is a well-kept bike path next to the camp (bicycles can be rented at the camp), which leads all the way to the lagoon behind the camp, where more than 200 species of birds live, so don't forget to take binoculars with you. With some luck you will also be able to see the flamingos.

Holidays at Camp Cavallino can also be used for trips and sightseeing in Venice. From the port of Punta Sabbioni (6 km from the campsite - bus stop is at the campsite in high season and 600 m away in spring and autumn) there is a boat vaporetto connection (as public transport in Venice) several times a day (lines 14 and 15, driving time approx. 40 minutes, one way price € 9.50 per person) to the center of Venice. From San Zaccaria Pietà Station, it is just a 5-minute walk to the square and the Church of St. Marco. If you have any additional day, we also recommend a boat trip to the island of Murano, which is famous for its glassware, and the island of Burano, known for its colorful houses and lacemaking.

Mobile homes description

Rent a mobile home in the Cavallino campsite - Venice - you can also decide for a holiday in a mobile home, which are located in the central part of the campsite. There are several different types of mobile homes for 2, 4 or 6 people, equipped with one, two or three bedrooms. All mobile homes are air conditioned, equipped with private bathroom, kitchen and terrace, in the living room there is also satellite TV.

The camp has a few mobile homes specially adapted for the disabled - for easier access there is a ramp, the arrangement of furniture and bathroom is different.

Dogs are also allowed in certain mobile homes.

It is also possible to rent bungalows for 6 people and apartments for 4, 6 or 8 people.

Glamping tents - camp Cavallino - Venice

If you would like to experience a slightly different camping holiday, then we recommend renting glamping tents for 4-6 people. Tents have two bedrooms, kitchen, living room, which is connected to the terrace. Most types of glamping tents also have their own bathroom e.g. models Safari and Villatent Luxe.

Dogs are not allowed in glamping tents.

    Morda preveč pričakovali od samega kampa, ni nek presežek. Ločen del kampiranja za lastnike psov od drugih. So pa zelo čisti tuši in wc. Wi-fi je za doplačilo, 5 Eur za 24 ur, 12 Eur za 3 dni. ...kampov v bližnji okolici je še cca 20. ​​
