Butterfly Camping Village is set on the shore of Lake Garda, on the right bank of Peschiera del Garda, where the lake flows into the Mincio River, which forms the border between Veneto and Lombardy. This is one of the 3 campsites (in addition to Del Garda and Gasparina) that occupy most of this area of the lake. The famous Gardaland amusement park can be reached in a good half an hour's walk.

It is a small campsite with a capacity for about 1000 people, with pitches and nearly 100 mobile homes, as well as bungalows. The campsite has several well-equipped sanitary facilities with washing machines and tumble dryers. The toilets are also suitable for disabled access.

The campsite does not have its own beach, but there are sandy and pebbly public beaches nearby. The campsite has a swimming pool complex with two swimming pools, water slides and playgrounds. There are also sports fields and a children's playground, as well as bicycle and boat hire.

The campsite has a restaurant, Butterfly Bistro, which of course offers pizzas and take-away in addition to the a la carte menu. It is possible to order breakfast or half-board.

This campsite is also right next to a pedestrian/bike path, there is a marina nearby and Verona is just half an hour away by car.

Mobile homes description

There are several types of mobile homes available, with different capacities. The 3-bedroom Happy Premium mobile home sleeps up to 7 people and accepts pets, as does the smaller (25 m2), 2-bedroom Happy Easy mobile home, which sleeps up to 6 people. Dogs are not allowed in the smallest house, Classic.

All the mobile homes are air-conditioned and have a fully equipped kitchen with living area and a terrace with seating and either a parasol or roof.
