Basic information

The campsite is about 7 km south of Peschiera del Garda, on Lake Garda, next to the Mincio River at Salionze.

The first thing to note about the Camping hu Altomincio Family Park is that there are no camping pitches. There is a wide range of mobile homes, some glamping tents for 4 people and a small hotel. The campsite is ideal for family holidays with small children, as it is traffic-free - cars must be left in the car park, from where an electric vehicle will take your luggage to your chalet.

A mini-club will keep the children entertained and organises daily events, workshops, performances and parties. The park has a real adrenaline park, mini golf, an indoor games room, a children's playground and pedal go-kart hire. Both adults and children can rent bicycles and go on a cycling trip along the Mincio River. The path is also suitable for jogging and walking. Water aerobics are also available at the campsite.

The campsite's water park is the main attraction: it includes an Olympic-size swimming pool, a large multi-purpose lagoon for soaking, a children's lagoon, a children's spray park and even a dog beach. Swimming in the river is not recommended.

Food is well catered for: there is a restaurant, takeaway, fast food, 3 bars, 2 patisseries and a shop.

The main tourist attraction nearby is the aforementioned Lake Garda and all the activities it has to offer: from cycling trails, water activities to the nearby Gardaland. The location also gives quick access to the motorway to Verona, ideal for a day trip.

Mobile homes description

The campsite has a really wide range of mobile homes of different types and sizes, including those with a jacuzzi on the terrace or specially adapted for disabled people. We offer some 'hu' and SunLodge mobile homes.

The houses can accommodate 5 to 6 people, and some accept pets. All are air-conditioned, have 2-3 bedrooms and 1-2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a covered terrace with chairs and table, some with sun loungers.

WiFi is mostly only available in common areas (swimming pools, restaurants, bars, reception).
