Glamping FOREST EDGE provides guests with beautifully decorated wooden houses. It is located in a prime location in the village of Rudnik near Radomlje, in the immediate vicinity of the Volcji Potok and Kamnik Arboretum. Glamping is only 3 km away from town Radomlje.
9 romantic wooden glamping lodges are available to guests for an unforgettable experience of sleeping in nature. The houses are equipped with a double bed. For a special experience, a large window provides a view of the beautiful forest from the bed. In front of the house is a small terrace with two sun beds.
In the immediate vicinity of glamping houses you can also rent a larger wooden house - Forest Villa for 4 + 2 people. The location offers you peace and a beautiful view of the surrounding hills. The house is available all year round and is equipped with a kitchen, living room with TV and fireplace, bathroom, toilet and two bedrooms. There is also a terrace next to the cottage, and there is also a small pool for refreshment in the summer months. On the lower floor there is also a Finnish sauna for 4 people, and in the garden there is an additional hot tub.
Guests in glamping houses can pamper themselves in the Finnish sauna, chill in the ice bath and relax in the jacuzzi. Bathrooms are located in a separate facility and provide the necessary comfort. Every morning breakfast is delivered in the basket to the glamping house terrace. They also offer rental of electric bicycles.
Glamping Forest edge has a beautiful common area, where they light a fire in the evenings, creating unforgettable moments. Guests can visit one of the nearby restaurants where they serve delicious local dishes, but they can also prepare their own meals in the kitchen, arranged under a hayrack, and simply pick vegetables in their garden.
Location of the glamping offers numerous opportunities for active holidays. Several trails lead to Velika planina, hiking to the Kamnik Savinja Alps, cycling along well-arranged trails around the area, which are also suitable for family trips, and there are also trails for mountain biking. Terme Snovik also offers swimming, but we also recommend a walk and a visit to the nearby Arboretum Volcji Potok, a hike along river Kamniska Bistrica to city Kamnik, which is one of the most beautiful medieval cities in Slovenia. Capital city, Ljubljana, is less than half an hour drive away.

V glampingu sva s punco bivala od petka do nedelje. Lastnik je zelo prijazen in ustrežljiv, posveti se vsakemu gostu posebej, z njim ob prihodu poklepeta in predlaga razne aktivnosti v okolici.
Lesene hišice so lepo izdelane, v njih je poleg postelje nekaj poličk, obešalnik, električni grelec, vsaka hišica ima tudi svoj hladilnik v zaklenjeni omarici pred vhodom ter par ležalnikov. Vsak gost dobi svojo brisačo, vsako jutro pa naju je pred hišico pričakala košara z zajtrkom.
Na travniku je tudi pokrit skupni prostor s kuhinjo, mizo ter nekaj kavči. V kuhinji je indukcijski kuhalnik ter nekaj osnovne posode in pribora, vendar je po mojem bolje, če imate s seboj svoj pribor. V kuhinji sta recimo sol in čaj, ni pa kisa, olja, začimb.
Kopalnice so 4 ločeni prostori, v vsakem je WC, umivalnik in tuš.
Na sredini travnika je zidano ognjišče, v katerem vsak večer gori ogenj in ponuja super prostor za druženje.
Hišice so primernejše za spanje v paru, vendar se bo lahko tudi družina z otroki brez težav stisnila vanjo.
Kar se lokacije hišic tiče, sva bila s punco v petek zelo zadovoljna. Zvečer popolna tišina, poklepetala sva s še nekaj gosti, pod tuš in spat.
Prav druga zgodba pa je bila v soboto, ko nas je zvečer presenetilo veliko število avtomobilov na parkirišču ter glasna glasba, ki je utihnila šele sredi noči, nato pa glasno odhajanje gostov, saj je parkirišče od hišic ločeno le z živo mejo.
Naslednji dan sem stvar raziskal na internetu ter ugotovil, da je neposredno ob travniku s hišicami prostor za poroke, prireditve in razne zabave Galerija Repanšek, od koder je glasna glasba prihajala.
Mogoče sva s punco naletela ravno na napačen datum, vendar če se prireditve in poroke tam odvijajo vsak vikend, miru v glampingu takrat ne boste našli.
Če strnem: Glamping je zelo lepo narejen, lokacija pa za ljubitelje miru ni najbolj primerna.
