Why do early bookings for mobile home rentals almost always pay off?

Renting a mobile home is most popular for spring holidays, early summer break and autumn holidays. We usually decide on these dates just a few days before departure. Early booking does not mean that mobile home rentals are only valid for spring dates, but you can also book a mobile home for the summer or then for autumn at a cheaper price.

As campsites are also keen to fill up as early as possible, they offer extra discounts on early bookings. Some people say that last minute is better, but for the most interesting holiday dates, e.g. end of July or beginning of August, it is hard to count on mobile homes being available in the best campsites, which offer lots of entertainment, have swimming pools and are located in well-known tourist destinations, e.g. Poreč, Rovinj, Krk Island, Venice, Lake Garda, etc.

It is also worth noting that most campsites dynamically change the prices of mobile home rentals according to demand, which means that the last-minute prices will certainly be higher than the current prices.

Early Booking VS Last minute 

Imagine a mobile home with a base price of €150 per night. During peak season, that rate can climb to €200 or more. A Last Minute deal with a 40% discount on the higher price would bring it down to €120 per night. In contrast, an Early Booking deal gives you 30% off the original €150, which comes to €105 per night. Over a 7-night stay, that’s €105 less in total compared to the Last Minute option.

What if my plans change?

Since we often don't agree on annual vacation dates until spring, this is a reasonable question. But don't worry: even if it turns out that you won't be able to take your vacation at the chosen time, most reservations can be canceled free of charge. So you can book for the summer before the season starts and then cancel or change your reservation dates if necessary.
