Camping Kraljev hrib - Kamniska Bistrica is situated in a beautiful natural environment with a beautiful view of the nearby mountains. It is open all year round, but during the low season from November to April, they recommend calling before arriving.
In the past, Kraljev hrib was an outpost where hunters lived to take care of the game in Kamnik Bistrica. The location is 10 km from Kamnik.
Camping is part of tourism and restaurant, where you will be able to test traditional local dishes, mostly connected to history of this place - this used to be a hunters lodge. They will serve you home made salami, soups, typical Slovenian specialities and culinary dishes from grill.

Campsite Kraljevi hrib has 25 terraced spaces for setting up tents and 18 spaces for a motorhome with the possibility of electricity connection, and they have also additionally arranged pitches for off-road vehicles. Guests also have nicely decorated toilets.
The hostel is set in the renovated attic of the guest house, where the natural wooden construction offers a homely and original feeling. They have several double, quadruple and family rooms. They also have a chalet for 2 or 6 people, equipped with a Finnish sauna and a beautiful view of the Kamnik Savinja Alps.
The surroundings of the Kraljevi hrib campsite offer a range of activities from hiking, walking and mountain biking to more adrenaline sports. At Kraljevi Hill you can try your hand at Paintball. A table tennis table and a Russian bowling alley are available free of charge.
The location of the Kraljevi Hill campsite is also an ideal starting point for many hiking tours in the Kamnik Alps. You can walk to the lower station of the pendulum for the Velika Planina mountain, which is only 300 metres from the campsite. For better prepared hikers, we also recommend a hike to the Kamnisk saddle or the 2,558 m high Grintovec, the highest peak in the Kamnik Savinja Alps.
