Zaton Holiday Resort improves swimming pool facilities in 2025

Camping Zaton Holiday Resort is one of the best campsites in the region and can also boast the ADAC Superplatz Campsite for 2025, making it one of the top 200 campsites in Europe. A new swimming pool complex with a children's pool, water playgrounds and large water slides has been announced for next year.

Camping Zaton Holidays Resort is located on a sandy beach north of Zadar (12 km) and offers excellent additional facilities, from entertainment to sports and gastronomy.

The campsite is open from mid-April to mid-October and offers cheaper camping for Avtokampi Camping Card - from € 27 for 2 people in the 2025 season.

Children will love the swimming pools at Zaton Holiday Resort and, as the pools are now only near the sea, the new swimming pools at the top of the campsite (near the tennis centre) will be a great asset. Alongside the large pool, there will also be a children's pool with water games and two large slides, especially for the fun of teenagers. The water in the pools will be heated!

Zaton Holiday Resort, on the right, includes well-equipped camping pitches with electricity, water and drainage, plus five modern sanitary facilities.

Last year, the mobile homes rental offer was updated, replacing older models with more modern ones from Slovenian manufacturer Adria Dom. There are two- and three-bedroom houses for 4-6 people, with a large terrace, and all are air-conditioned.

On the left side of the resort, near the beach, there are apartments for 2 - 6 people.

The campsite has excellent animation, tailored to the age of the children, with numerous playgrounds, climbing frames, adventure mini golf, and of course, in summer, there are beach parties and various events and musicals, as there is also an event space.

Active holiday enthusiasts will also find something to do. Camping Zaton Holiday Resort has numerous sports facilities and courts for tennis, football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, a three-lane jogging track, bowling, a large mini-golf course.

Swimming lessons for children are also available at the pools during the summer months.

In addition, they offer bike rental, SUP boards, kayaks, jet-ski, tube and banana rides, a diving centre, and a special feature is the equestrian centre, so you can also go horse riding on the campsite.

The campsite offers a varied gastronomic offer from traditional Dalmatian to Italian food, a renovated restaurant Mercato where you can also order half-board, plus beach bars and the Craft Beer Garde pub.

So you can enjoy the restaurant Gradele right on the beach with its grilled dishes, when the kids get hungry by the pool you can pop into the local fast food restaurant, there's also a burger restaurant and for a romantic dinner for two we recommend the Ventula Italian Restaurant & Loungea.

Even more fun at the pools

The Zaton Holiday Resort already has a large number of heated swimming pools, so you can swim in the spring and then again at the end of the season in October.

The pool complex is close to the sea and the sandy beach and includes 2,500 m2 of heated water. The pools have a variety of water depths for children to enjoy, and swimming lessons are also available in the summer season. There is also a spray park with water games and one of the pools has hydro-massage benches.

Last year, adult pools (16+) were added to the offer, with the Ventula Lounge on the beach itself, which includes on the first floor
two heated swimming pools, plus a bar and restaurant.

New swimming pools open at the mid-June 2025

The new pools at Zaton Holiday Camp will include a large pool with an interesting shape, plus a children's pool with low water and water games. In total, there will be an additional 2,500 m2 of water surface, including 300 m2 of children's pool.

As the adrenaline slides have been missed by the bigger children, two more slides will be added next to the pool. Another restaurant will be added next to the pool.

Info > In the 2025 season, the two heated pools of the Ventula Lounge will be open from 15.4. to 30.4., during which time children (accompanied by their parents) will be allowed. The larger heated pools will be open from 1.5. onwards, and the new pools in the upper part of the campsite are scheduled to open from 14.6. onwards.
