Basic information

Big Bear Plitvice Camping Resort was opened in May 2019. It is a modern campsite in Croatia, which is located in the inland, 20 km away from highway and larger town Otocec. Camping enables camping on arranged camping pitches and rental of mobile homes.

In the new Big Bear Plitvice Resort guests are enjoying beautiful nature, peaceful surroundings, visit the National Park Plitvice Lakes or take part in one of the sports activities.

Campsite Big Bear Plitvice Resort is arranged according to the latest standards and includes 60 camping pitches that are from 90 to 120 m2 large. Pitches are equipped with electricity and water connection. There is one sanitary facilities building with laundry.

The beautifully arranged reception includes a smaller shop with souvenirs and local products, and restaurant where guests are able to taste the home-made specialties known for the region.

Camping Big Bear has children's playground, shared barbecue place, even smaller wellness is planned. There are many sport possibilities in the area, from hiking to cycling, kayaking along the Gacka River and ridding of the quads. There is also an adrenaline park nearby, offering a ride on a zip line.

However, you must take the time to visit the Plitvice Lakes National Park, which is open all year round. You should not miss the 16 lakes, where the water in the waterfalls fuses from one lake to the other.
