Basic information

Campig Karin is in village Donji Karin, along the old road between Obrovac and Benkovac. Best way is to exit highway A1 at the exit Zadar 1 towards Obrovac. It is 20 min drive from the centre of Zadar.

Campsite Karin has 3 stars and has been awarded as a great mini campsite in 2016. It is family run camping with 90 pitches. It is located just by the sea in so called Karin bay and has overview across the mountains Velebit.

Pitches are between 110 and 140 m2 large and equipped with electricity, water and sewage. All guests have access to free wifi internet. Pitches are pretty sunny as planted trees are still young and not too big.

They also allow renting a tent for 2 people, which is excellent for guests without any camping equipment. The tent is equipped with two beds, a small terrace and a seating area.

There is one sanitary building with indoor and outdoor showers, toilets, places for washing the dishes, laundry and dog shower.

Close to the camp you will find shop and mini market, while larger shop is in Benkovec, which is 12km away. Also medical ambulant is there.

Camping Karin is great choice for the ones that are looking for peaceful holidays in nature. Beach in camp is pebbled and great for kids. As sea is usually pretty calm as as such appropriate for SUP, kayaks and canoes. In camp it is possible to rent a bike, SUP board, they have court for small football and bowling. There is nice children's playground arranged.

Complete area is encircled with pine trees, close by is as well beach with healing mud. Not far are many arranged cycling paths, while half an hour away you can visit National Parks Paklenica, Kornati and Krka. Even closer is canyon of river Zrmanjana, which offers variety options for sport.
