Camping Civetta is a family-run campsite set right next to the ski slopes and 50 metres from the Pian del Crep gondola in Maerson-Pecol in the Val di Zoldo. The campsite is situated at an altitude of 1,390 metres, but the road to the campsite is always well maintained.
It is a well-maintained campsite with well-equipped pitches, which also offers apartments for 4-6 people and small glamping houses for rent. The location of Camping Civetta is perfect for winter camping, as it is right next to the ski slopes (50 metres from the lower gondola station), and is frequented by hikers and mountain bikers in summer. Horseback riding and electric bike rental are also available.
Camping Civetta has around 20-25 pitches with electricity (3A) in winter and around 50 pitches in summer, as there is also a part of the campsite where the ski slope runs in winter.
In 2021 new toilets were built, there is a heated common area with tables and a children's playroom, a table tennis table, table football, wifi. There is also a ski storage room for ski equipment, but use of this is at an additional cost. There is also a new fitness room (extra charge). They also offer cheaper ski equipment rental - 15% discount.
In summer, there is a children's playground and a volleyball court, and there is also a garden where guests can enjoy home-grown vegetables.
The campsite has heated toilets, a laundry room and a drying room. There is also a gas filling station and a supply room (grey water outlet, chemical toilet) for holiday vehicles.
There are also restaurants, an excellent patisserie, a grocery shop and a sports equipment shop in Maerson - Pecol.
The Civetta ski resort is very popular with families, with 72 km of beautifully groomed pistes, including 28 km of blue pistes, 32 km of red pistes and 8 km of black pistes. From the end of December, night skiing is also available from Thursday to Saturday on the slopes at the campsite. Cross-country skiing trails are also available near the ski slopes.
