Camper stop description

Zagreb is a popular destination for campers seeking to visit the capital of Croatia with many attractions, ZOO, visit cultural events or music concerts, and in December visit Christmas markets and nicely decorated city centre.

You can park your camper van and spend the night in the car park in front of the entrance to Jarun, which is in the south-western part of the city. It is a car park without a camper van service. However, there is no vehicle access to the Jarun itself.

Jarun is a sports park arranged along the lake and rowing centre, 7km from the center of Zagreb. The best way to get to the city is by city trams no. 17 (runs about 20 minutes). During the advent time, the use of the tram is during the weekend free of charge.

There are many children's and sports fields in the park (basketball, football, volleyball, mini golf, table tennis, rowing, surfing ...). Several kilometres of pebble beach are arranged, and in the summer water is around 24 ° C and suitable for swimming. The park is also popular among cyclists and strollers as there are many well-organized routes. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby.
