Hiške slovenske Istra is a tourist accommodation facility with rooms, apartments and Istrian cottages, as well as a camper stop and a tent site.
It is located near the village of Truške and 3 km from Marezige. The centre of Koper and the sea are a 15-minute drive away.
They also offer a campervan space (2 parking spaces) equipped with electricity and wifi, and a tent site. There are shared sanitary facilities, which are also used by guests from the three Houses, a common kitchen area, a large terrace and a shared barbecue. Fresh water is available for campers, but there is no grey water outlet or chemical toilet.
An Istrian breakfast is prepared with local delicacies: from homemade Istrian salami and pancetta, to cow's cheese, cottage cheese, dried fruit, honey, jam, bread with extra virgin olive oil, homemade herbal tea and other produce. In addition to breakfast, you will also receive 5 vouchers for free experiences with their suppliers, which will also help you get to know Slovenian Istria.
They also offer home-cooked dinners - taste Istrian delicacies for dinner, where you will spoil your taste buds with traditional dishes.
The location of the Slovenian Istria Houses is very peaceful, in the middle of the Istrian countryside and with a beautiful view of the Bay of Koper and the Bay of Trieste.
Alongside the camper stop and the tent site, there are also apartments (two apartments for two or three people with kitchen and bathroom), rooms (6 rooms for two to four people) and traditional Istrian houses (three houses for two or three people), surrounded by vineyards on a green hill.
The houses, called Mlekarica, Krušarica and Jajčarica, are furnished with original furniture from the 19th and early 20th centuries and are dedicated to the Šavrinci, who sold their produce in Trieste. The houses have no electricity and no bathrooms (shared bathrooms are located 30 metres from the houses), so guests receive lights for illumination, and Wi-Fi and electricity are available in the common areas.
