Camping Vidor is located in the Val di Fassa valley, directly next to the Buffaure ski slope, and 500 metres from the campsite you can ski to the gondola that takes you up to 2,000 metres above sea level. Campsite is 1,5 km from the centre of Pozza di Fassa.
Camping Vidor has around 250 pitches with electricity and water (60 to 160 m2), which are arranged in terraces, and there is a camper stop with around 35 pitches for caravan parking. The pitches are connected to 16A electricity and the camper stop to 2A - electricity is payable according to consumption. There is a heated sanitary facility for the camping guests, and full provisioning of caravans.
The campsite also offers glamping chalets, apartments and rooms for rent. The modern rooms can accommodate 1-3 people, while the apartments and glamping suites can accommodate 4-6 people. In addition, suites can be rented, which also have a private wellness area with a jacuzzi and sauna.
Thanks to its excellent facilities, Camping Vidor is one of the best campsites in Europe and holds the ADAC Superplatz title.
The campsite is open all year round, with the exception of May and November, when it is closed. The best way to reach the campsite from Slovenia is by passing through Belluno, through Agordo and then up to the San Pelegrino pass, which is always maintained in winter, and then past Moena to Pozzo di Fassa. The whole journey, without additional stops, takes about 4 hours.
It is a modern campsite which is interesting in winter, when it is an excellent base for skiing in the Dolomites, but in summer it is mainly used by hikers and mountain bikers.
Camp Vidor boasts an excellent swimming pool complex (extra charge for camp guests) with a large indoor pool, a smaller outdoor pool, children's water games, a colourful waterslide and a wellness area with saunas, massages and a beauty centre. There is also a fitness centre.
The campsite offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and offers guests a peaceful holiday with many activities. For children, there is an outdoor playground, an indoor playroom, a climbing area, a football pitch, and in the main summer season, animation and organised hiking trips.
Camp Vidor also has a small shop, a restaurant and a pizzeria serving traditional dishes, as well as special children's menus.
In winter, skiing is popular on the many ski slopes in the Val di Fassa, which are now also linked to the Dolomiti Superski slopes, so you can go around the popular Sella Ronda. The basic ski pass for Val di Fassa already includes runs in the areas of Ciampac - Buffaure Carezza, Canazei / Belvedere - Col Rodella, Catinaccio and Carezza. There are also cross-country skiing trails in the valley.
