Camping Roma Capitol will extend its opening over the New Year to 7 January 2025.

Basic information

Camping Roma Capitol - Rome belongs to the group of Baia Holiday campsites. The campsite is 3 km away from Ostia Antica and 5 km from Lido di Ostia Beach. The location of the Roma Capitol campsite is a good starting point for visiting Rome, which is 25 km away, but it is advised to use public transport (train or bus) to reach the center of Rome.

Campsite accepts the Avtokampi Camping Card, which will make camping holidays more affordable. The discount is listed at the price list of the campsite - order for free and get camping card by email.

Campsite Roma Capitol is open from April to November. In addition to well-kept camping pitches (750 pitches with electricity), they also enable the rental of more than 200 mobile homes. They offer as well rental of caravans for 5 people and glamping tents for 6 people.

Camping pitches are arranged in a pine woods, offering plenty of shade, and are equipped with electricity, water and satellite TV connection. Dogs are also welcome in the camp, the toilets are nicely arranged and specially adapted for children and the disabled.

The camp has swimming pools, which will be upgraded with new pools in 2021 and 2022. This way guests will be enjoying larger swimming pool, a children’s pool with toys and smaller slides, and a massage pool. There is an additional playground and mini golf for children, tennis courts, basketball and football courts, as well as bicycle rental.

The campsite also has a small shop, restaurant and bar.

While visiting Rome and enjoying the beaches, you can also go on a cycling trip along the Tiber River or to the Rainbow MagicLand Family Fun Park.

Mobile homes description

Camping Roma Capitol - Rome also offers rental of mobile homes. You can choose smaller mobile homes for 2 - 3 people or larger for 4 or 6 people, which are equipped with two or three bedrooms. All mobile homes are air conditioned and equipped with a kitchen, one or two bathrooms and a terrace.

It is as well possible to rent a mobile home where dogs are allowed, and even for disabled people. They have specially adapted mobile homes with a ramp for easier access and a customized floor plan and bathroom.

Glamping

Glamping description

Camping Roma Capitol - Rome offers large glamping tents for 4 - 6 people. These tents are equipped with two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and terrace. They will enable your slightly different holiday under a tent canvas.

Dogs are not allowed in glamping tents.
