Camp Del Sole is set on the southern shore of Lake Iseo, about 30 km from Brescia in Lombardy, next to the Torbiere del Sebino Nature Reserve. It is a small campsite (3 hectares), but it has excellent facilities and is therefore categorised as 5-star. There are over 370 pitches and 40 mobile homes, as well as glamping units and bungalows.
All pitches have electricity, and those for caravans and motorhomes also have water and drainage. Standard pitches are just over 50 m2, while larger pitches can be up to 80 m2. The campsite has extremely well-equipped sanitary facilities, adapted for disabled people and children, and laundry and drying facilities.
There are 3 swimming pools (Olympic, children's and large pool with a waterslide), tennis, football, volleyball and basketball courts, bicycles, canoes and boats for hire, an animation programme for children and youths of all ages, and group exercise classes for adults. During the high season, there is also a wide-ranging evening programme.
The campsite has 2 restaurants, a beach bar and a well-stocked shop. Free WiFi is available on site.
The beach at the campsite is well maintained, partly sandy and partly grassy. The water in the lake warms up nicely in summer, and well over 20 degrees in July and August.
As already mentioned, the campsite is close to a nature reserve, the Torbiere del Sebino wetland. In summer, it's a great base for hiking or birdwatching, as there are plenty of birds. The city of Brescia is just half an hour's drive from the campsite, and Milan is also just a good hour's drive away.
