Basic information

Camping Bacinska jezera (Bacinska lakers) is located only 3 km from Ploce and lies in a natural environment just by the lake with the same name. There are 6 interconnected lakes, some have arranged beaches. Lakes are only 500m from the sea.

Water in lakes is usually about a degree warmer than the sea and are also suitable for bathing. It is easiest to get to the lakes by driving along the Adriatic highway from Makarska to Ploče.

Camping Bacinska jezera is a smaller camp with around 30 arranged camping pitches. There are electricity and water connections on pitches, and some pitches have sewage. Sanitary facilities are arranged, with washing machine and refrigerator for rental. There is a free internet connection across the campsite.

In the summer, swimming in the lakes is possible, it is possible to ride kayaks, canoes and SUP boards. There are also some biking and hiking trails in the area. The Neretva river also offers interesting excursions, while beaches on Neretva delta it is an excellent place for surfing and kiting.
