Mobile homes in Southeast Slovenia
Wondering how to visit most of the campsites in Dolenjska and Bela Krajina? Simple: follow the water! Whether it's the Sava river, which takes you to Čatež, or Kolpa, along which many campsites in Bela Krajina are located.
The region is also ideal for cycling and exploring its natural beauty, of which there is no shortage. All of this is complemented by the local people and their strong folk traditions, which you can witness at many traditional events.
The campsites in these places (with the exception of Terme Čatež) are smaller and, due to their location, ideal for stopovers for foreigners on longer journeys through Slovenia. This does not mean, of course, that their offer is limited or that they are only suitable for single-night stays: many have added mobile homes to their offer of pitches for campers and tents. And since water is the region's leitmotif, it is worth noting that all the campsites with mobile homes are by the river. Most of the units are simple but well-kept and maintained, large enough for large families or groups of friends. Almost all of them also accept pets so that no one has to stay at home.
