Basic information

It is a campsite of the Human Company chain, which you can recognise by the "hu" in its name. The name also reveals that it is a city campsite - these campsites are a great base from which to explore the city in which they are located. The hu Venezia Camping in Town is located in the center of the Marghera municipality of Venice and is open all year round, as Venice is also a year-round destination.

One of the main advantages of the campsite is the parking space provided and the excellent connection to Venice: a free shuttle bus runs twice a day from the campsite to the center of Venice.

The campsite is therefore not primarily intended for traditional holidays, but it is well equipped and above all practical: it has mobile homes, glamping tents and pitches. These are up to 80 m2 in size, suitable for tents, caravans and motorhomes. They can accommodate up to 6 guests and pets, and are equipped with electricity. For everything else, there are nicely equipped sanitary facilities.

The swimming pool complex is quite large and well maintained, open from the end of April to the end of September, and includes a larger swimming pool, a children's pool, 2 whirlpools and a shallow "lagoon" for soaking under the water jets. There are movie nights by the pools, a children's playground, a pool table and a foosball table in the indoor games room. Table tennis is also available.

The campsite has a typical Italian restaurant serving breakfast and a bar. There is also a small shop at the campsite entrance.

As mentioned, the main attraction for most visitors is the city where the campsite is located: Venice. Thanks to its good connections, you can explore this world-famous city and its canals every day, but there are also other interesting destinations: the islands of Murano and Burano and the islets of the Venetian lagoon. You can take a scenic boat ride or choose one of the guided walks around the city center.

Mobile homes description

The range of mobile homes on offer is typical of urban campsites: from affordable small units for 2-3 people with bathroom but no kitchenette, to larger family mobile homes with 32 m2, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a terrace. These mobile homes can sleep up to 5 people. All units are air-conditioned and most allow dogs.

Parking is possible right next to some mobile homes, while others require a car to be left in a shared parking area within the campsite. WiFi is free, available near the reception, restaurant and swimming pools.
