Basic information

Camp Biogradska gora (Biograd mountain) is located within the National park and is one of the oldest protest parts of the world. Whole surface of the park is encompasing central part of Bjelasica between rivers Tara and Lima. Because of the protection, great part of the area is still old forest.

Camp is located just next to Biograd lake, which has glacier foundations and is of nice blue-green colors. It is one of the nicest lakes in this part of the Europe. Whole lake is located around 1000m above the sea, while mountains around are higher than 2000m.

Camp is intended mostly for tents and offers also few wooden bungalows. Close by is a restaurant with local food.

Guests can go hiking, rafting on river Tara, can rent a boat or go rowing on the lake. Here you can buy also allowances for fishing.

Zelo lepo okolje, vendar zelo neurejena infrastruktura kampa. Le en priključek za elektriko (oz. 4 vtičnice v eni omarici), kvečjemu dva prostora za kamperje, ostali prostori tudi za šotore le pogojno uporabni, ker ni ravnine. Sanitarije grozno neurejene, dva čučavca, umazana, "ker ima gospa, ki skrbi zanju, danes prosto..." Zraven sta dva manjša umivalnika brez tople vode. Posodo naj bi lahko oprali kar v lesenem koritu, v katerega teče izvirska voda preko lesene "cevi", seveda samo mrzla voda.
Sicer pa okolica zelo lepa, jezero je krasno, možnost izposoje čolnov, izhodišče za planinarjenje ipd.
