Camping Brda in Goriška Brda is open all year round, making it an attractive destination for motorhome and caravan owners even outside the main tourist season. Rooms and cottages are also available for rent. In November, they are preparing a camping event to mark the end of the St. Martin's Day celebrations, and they will also be offering special camping prices with the Avtokampi card.

The mild climate of the Goriška Brda region is also ideal for autumn walks and cycling, and of course for visiting the wine cellars in the area.

We recommend a hike to Sabotin, a trip to the observation tower in Gonjače and on to the village of Šmartno and Dobrovo Castle. Nearby is also the Brda wine cellar, a hike through the Krčnik gorge and a visit to the abandoned village of Slapnik,

Camping in the Goriška Brda region

Camping Brda, located in Podsabotin, offers 12 camping pitches (with electricity, water, and drainage) and well-maintained heated sanitary facilities.

You can also rent an apartment house or two smaller two-room cottages, and there are three more rooms in the main building. This means you can visit Goriška brda with friends who don't camp – you can enjoy your pitch while they stay in a room or cottage, and then explore the beautiful surroundings together.

The camp also has a swimming pool, which is currently closed, but you can rent electric bikes. If you let them know in advance, they'll treat you to some local gourmet delicacies at the campsite.

Special Offer for the End of St. Martin’s Fest — November 21–23, 2025

Camping Brda is celebrating the weekend of November 21–23 with a special camping offer for holders of the Avtokampi Camping Card, in addition, this weekend they will also offer a 3-course dinner menu at a special price.

The weekend will be enriched with chestnut roasting and a guided wine tasting at the nearby Valentinčič wine cellar, located just steps from the campsite.

Winter Camping Promotion

Camping Brda is extending its seasonal hospitality with discounted winter camping rates.

From November 23, 2025 to February 28, 2026, holders of the Avtokampi Card can enjoy for €25 per night for 2 people and a pitch + electricity surcharge €5 and tourist tax.
